My getting pked in the 30-40s on LC and HL here was about the same as getting pked in the 30-40s on Oracle back in the day (mid-2008 for reference). Wasn't that bad. A bit annoying at times, but it's nothing you can't get over. Of course, it's my experience that certain people get a lot more angry over being pked than I do.

I am personally not much for PVP beyond TW and Wushu, but hell, I like the option to kill little ****s if they bug the **** out of me which I can't really do if they're ****ing blue named all the time.

Players that actually have the drive to TW will be forced to improve their pvp skills during this hour if they don't just opt to shop or wander around safezones improving the overall TW gameplay and experience.

A larger pool of pk enabled players will be available to pull from for the regular pkers for larger scale pk battles.

Player etiquete will be increased as has been experienced by the pk servers.

Benefits for the company:

Less player loss due to experiential stagnation.
Fewer high paying customers will "get bored and move on."
Players over level 90 will have a higher tendency to spend money due to "fear of gear loss."

This has to be one of the most stupid suggestions I have seen here since the start fo this game. Why do you think 80% of the players want to play on a PvE server. Go reroll on a PvP server, and let this be a lesson to start plan your gameplay ahead when first selecting server and char. It's called life experience and has nothing to do with playing a PvE vs. a PvP server.

When you make statements like these it's you that damage ppls enjoyment for the game. Let me explain: Now there may be a few players starting to get worried if stupid ppl can alter the gamplay they have learned to like so much, if a suggestion like this became reality.

So go reroll a PK char, or get as far away from the PWI community as possible and don't come cack. TY!

I am sick of ppl that gets tired of the game, then try to ruin it for everybody else as they go down the drain.

Ok, clarification since people seem to be confused about it, it's an inversion of auto-pve to auto-pvp mode that can still be turned off, unlike on the pvp servers where you get it, you're stuck with it.

The only reason I don't PK is because I can't afford it. That's it. Participating in PK requires a constant supply of GA's and decent gear, and at the moment I'm struggling to save enough to even afford endgame gear. I don't even do CS because I need all the coin I can get. Extra expense daily isn't an option and the game for me would become sitting in safezone for an hour each day until I can go blue named and continue playing like normal.

That probably get more PvEers PvPing out there.


P.S. I said PvE servers only because PvP servers usually seem to like that part of PvP. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Cept you'd get all the people that DO PK on here crying a river cause they can't get people's gear in drops. Can't win either way on this....... hence, if u WANT PK constantly..... liek it's been said, reroll on a PvP server (or like i said hit the stupid button adn go find other white names).....

Let me put it this way. I don't go to the creators of a game like Tales of the Abyss and demand they put in a turn-based battle system because I suck at most action-based battle systems. Instead, I go play a game like Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne that has an actual turn-based battle system and then just go watch TotA's cut scenes on Youtube if I want to.

Want PVE = play on a PVE server.
Want PVP and PVE = play on a PVP server.

Also, don't forget events like Dragon Temple and Wushu where you can...shock and awe...pk without risk of losing anything.

A most astute observation... I'm sure the OP must be thinking something self-serving like this:

"I've invested so much time and $$$ in acquiring my bad-*** gear and NOW I'm finally ready to Pk people, but there's not enough targets for me... PWI, fix it for me because I really didn't want to be in Pk mode all the time until I was a L102 over-powered Tideborn with awesome-sauce endgear! ...although I'm more than willing for others to suffer a major rules-change now that I've got my investment in place to kick ****, so bring it!"

For the record, making proposals and only identifying pros from your viewpoint without some counterpoint to list cons makes for an unbalanced argument. A separate proposition is not called for, simply the pros and cons of the single proposal should be fully discussed so voters make an informed decision. In this case, it's a forum poll and thus one's vote is irrelevant, although amusing none the less!

Don't go afk out of safe on the ground or near it. Problem solved.

Most people are too lazy to fly all the way up to 70 altitude to kill you. Unless you're red.

I mean, doesn't the amount of PK-able targets kind of reflect on the mindset of the people playing on PVE servers? If everyone actually wanted to PK all day you'd probably have more targets.

And I think you extremist pvp people should just understand that some (most?) people just don't like PVP and all the drama/ imbalancies/ annoyances about it. Some enjoy getting ingame "reputation" but I play MMOs for a reason; playing with others. Not against other people.

I think its great to have PvE servers. I could imaine playing on a PvP server if it was like wow (horde-alliance) but a server where pretty much everyone everywhere is an enemy is kind of... weird and stupid if you ask me. But that is why I'm playing on a PvE server.
