Normal 10 mil coins per land = 100 mirages soon

GG pwi wanting us to spend more RL coins to buy charms.

    if you npc the mirages, you'll get at least 1 mil out of them =P
    also, the "gold" that you used to buy using in game coins are gold bought by some other people.

    PWI might not even earn more from this because -> less coins in game -> lower price of gold -> lower supply of gold
    (which is offset by you buying the gold for your charms yourself)

    No seriously where does it say that the new pay system will be 100 mirages instead of 10 mill coin??

    That's not an equal trade off at all.

    It was mentioned somewhere by a shady toon in this forums like a few weeks ago that the current coin payment will be changed to a mirage payment system. And also for rank 9, only factions with land have the chance to get something required to get from rank 8 to rank 9.

    And the shady toon mentioned something like this is an update on pw cn (which will eventually make its way here)

    "幻仙石" - used for refining, not sure if its mirages or something else...

    And yes, for 9jun you will need items only obtainable by the top land-owning factions...

    Old news if you follow another forum, but yes it has been mentioned there and is hilarious imo....will change a lot if/when they bring it here...

    well the reason i said its shady is he was talking about something at first, then he edited his post and talked about the new pay system....b:shocked

    easist way to confirm this would be for someone who knows and understand chinese to read it off the update notes there.

    Changes:

    War declaration:
    - bidding will not be system announced
    - min bid of 100k, max bid of 200m
    - max bidder will be announced Thursday
    - failed bids do not get returned (no more fake bids!)
    - not sure what the last point means

    Land attacks:
    - confusing, but end result will make defending multiple attacks harder

    Land rewards:
    - L3 lands give 150 "幻仙石" - some refining item, L2 gives 200, L1 gives 300
    - "Ultimate prize" of a "荣耀勋章" which is needed for obtaining 9jun

    Doubt it will happen here, cutting TW pay by 90% when it currently barely covers costs?

    Last point basically means = No refund

    So...if more then one Faction bids on a land, the Faction who has bid the most gets to go to war and the others do not but they will not get their bids back either.

    ^ All part of the "secret" bidding in that NO bid will be announced to the server and people will be in suspense until Thursday when the Dates/Times/Factions are announced.b:surrender

    It is supposed to make it more competitive....

    It SHOULDN'T cover costs. TW should cost a ton with little in return. The game needs coin sinks badly, gold prices clearly show that.

    I hope the changes listed above are made. It would remove those that are just in it for the money, and leave behind the people who are in it for the pvp, like myself.

    lol of course, TW is going to pay for my lunar wep and to refine and shard my gears, of course I'm only in it for the money. That's why I've only gotten TW pay a few times and have 70mil on me, TW pay is what made that happen ofc. [/sarcasm]


    But TW shouldn't cost 2mil+ each weekend and not give anything in return which this "new system" will do.


    Hell charm cost alone will eat up 80-90% of the coins you get from TW pay.

    Only those with a lot of lands can have enough to cover their charm anyway. What of those factions who are starting out? For the majority of the factions fighting, TW already costs 2m+ a weekend with little in return.

    It gives them somethign to aim for. Currently if you're in a faction starting out with TW you spend 2mil and don't get much in return, but if you do good, work hard and get more lands then you eventually get to cover most of the costs.

    With this "new system" if you're in a faction just starting out with TW even if you DO manage to succeed and gain lands, you STILL get nothing. It's like, congratulations on winning your territory, you get nothing!

    There are some of us who PvP TW is the only thing fun left in the game. So i'm not making any coin other then TW, and that covers my charms so i can TW again. You just want it to punish those that made it to the top so someone like you who hasnt worked their way up wont have the same disadvantage the rest of us had.

    Adeacia, I would like to see you be a cata barb with 30k+ HP, and go through 3 plat charms per 3 hour battle.

    altho the "max bidder announce on thurs" i wonder if their dumb enough to not realize that once a faction monopolizes the server (which most servers should have one) then the rules will favor them to keep on doing it.     lol, greedy people crying waaa. Lets say, about 99 % of the game population have learn to play without x 100's of millions weekly gulid income, because they never see a town war. Just pointless QQ and nothing else.

    I think it's actually a nice touch to tw system, we finally have a HUGE money sink, and by not having 570mil dumped into the game everyweek there is actually point in grinding. It's actually have some positive impact on the game system and especially the low lvl ppl. Gold will fall in price.

    And this so called I'm in tw so I can cover cover cost for next week I say GTFO, atm I'm paying to get a good tw, and i pay barb in my faction so they dont use too much money for charm. End game is all about having fun, and if you cant make 2-3mil a week to fund your tw, well tough luck.

    As for rank 9 bages, they wont come cheap, the information I have now is, everyweek, 1 random land will produce 1 bage, you need 1 bage to lvl to rank9, atm, i think the price of that badge will be around 500mil to cover the lost income.

    I would actually love the new system. TW pay consists of maybe about 5% of my weekly income at best. So the new system isn't going to hurt me any... it'll just provide me more charmless people to kill for when I do go to tw.

    But also keep this in mind. If it’s true that you need items provided by TW (directly or indirectly) for ranked ****. Those items will be selling for quite a bit of coins... so effectively that might or might not make up the difference.
    1. If I kill you; do something about it yourself, don't go complaining to my wife.
    2. If you have less kill counts then me, don't expect me to take pk advice from you.
    3. If you are hiding behind an alt, don't expect me to acknowledge your existence.
