The expansion itself doesn't sound too promising and so do the new classes somehow.
I was more hyped when they announced Rising Tide... even if that was another small disappointment ... but the worst disappointment was when they brought Age of Spirits in with genies...

But well I think I'll try them out anyway... even if pwi isn't really fun anymore since all my friends left for good or other servers >:/


Oi, one question:

Now with the announced expansion coming, should we still continue working on the Cursed or are we quite unsuccessfully done here...?

Some Mystic Skills:

1. 200% straight-line magic attack plus 4,268 wood damage, paralysis enemies for 5 seconds.

2. increases def. lvl by 10, atk. lvl by 5 to squad members within 10 meter radius.
3. Charm a mob of lesser level than your current level to assist in fighting. Success rate: 100%, duration: 300 seconds, cost: 1 spark. Mob will disappear when max duration is reached. The description of the skill says the mobs are of "怨灵"type.

Actually 1 + 2 sound like Psychic to me. And that this class can control mobs doesn't mean anything . . . in the end they only copied WoW completely lol o_o

You know, you can't really expect any suggested concept to be used in it's entirety. My take is these kinds of suggestions help to inspire those creative devs at PW. Of course, they are going to like some ideas, poo-poo others, and come up with their own creation that might use some suggested aspects. It may be in FW, but they did create a Vampire class and that Kindred race is pretty cool. They won't use any idea whole clothe, I mean they are creative (like artists kind of).
I think you succeeded. Some of your ideas seem to have inspired them. I hope this new Genesis swordsman can tank. They can be male or female and so can the new spirit summoner class. A lot of people have been asking for that. I don't remember, but isn't one of your suggested classes a summoner of some kind?

And yeah, Night Hunter is a summoner class.

And from what I heard, Seeker is HA melee tank, Mystic is AA rumoured to be a summoner class... others say it's more a debuffer/anti-cleric . . .

EDIT:
Pff class info is already out. So we have our great Paladin class and a ... druid class without the ability to morph... But yay, we're going to get double-handed swords and long staffs!

Hey a claymore and staff. That's our blade arms + jygen weapons for our meleer and gun staff for our arcane. Mission complete

You know a person of nature has to have handy dandy healing powers. I smellz ideas.

This made me lol. Look at our SS Female outfit vs My Female

Similar:

-Necklace
-Top showing the stomach
-Belt with skirt
-One sleeve/ No sleeve
-Boots

Unsimilar:

-Color/Design
-Armlets
-Leglet {Forgot what its called x3}

And its funny again because our only pic of a NH male is in heavy armor which the Seeker is in. xDDD

But the even funnier thing was that they gave the players lots of info about Earthguards and the class names when they kept Tideborn underwraps until it was time to release. BTW Zombie, vampire and spirit is up there on the first page.

I don't even think they considered our ideas at all to be honest =(

Anyway about the clothing... it's always the same that the concept art shows females with less clothing ... Did anyone notice that they somehow covered up that veno assassin on the forum side so it looks less revealing...? Or am I imagining things o_o ... Not that you can see that character completely _-_

Well about what to do now...

Could we please vote about the Flying Mounts now? If the mounts should be Auras or not.
Just write either 'Yes' or 'No'...

Perfect World just isn't dark. Please accept this. Forsaken World is supposed to be the dark game for PWI. I read it in an interview of a dev about PWI games. It seems to me like some of your ideas were used:
Underground home.
Spirit summoner.
Vampire class in FW.
2 handed swords. Not sure if that's yours, but others have suggested it.
Bottom line: they listen and have used concepts similar to what you have been working on.

Oh my!

This is one of the best Race ideas I've seen in any RPG's forum... this race seems much more appropriate than the new earthgaurd.

If you guys need anything at all with ideas for this race, let me know, and I'll see what I can come up with.

Has anyone messaged the CM or a moderator to take a look at this, especially for a possible sticky and to be sent to the developers?

Anybody here who knows of WoW, you know of their warrior class...OR at least heard of it. Well considering the fact I played WoW, I have to say Seeker sounds like a copy of it to some extent. The stance thing is basically the same thing and HA = plate, etc, etc.

I'm not gonna bother comparing all the info, just pointing out the fact that it is very like another game's class.

Hope china dev's make it stand apart and not just be a C&P of the other class.

You've said nothing new.
But you're incorrect in some ways. Sure they've copied the Stance Mode from Warriors, but the rest is basically a Paladin rip-off.

ppl always saying how pw copy this and copy that but you do realise that there are only so many ideas you can use for a class, in this type of fantasy setting. Your always gonna have your archers, warriors, rogue, and clerics/preist ...

Plus they really don't have any class that is just like another class in another game. There always will be some amt of similiarity.....
