    Wow you didn't get enough money the first time around??? come on we all know they aren't back by popular demand, maybe DEV's and GM demand. I personally hated those things. kinda turned the game in favor of who spends the most money in game. i think ur game is becoming a joke. imma prolly get banned for this, but its the honest truth. Your competeing with another game that i shall not mention, and u pull this money stunt again. i wouldn't be surprised if u lose more members to the other game. i plan to go to it till ur joke of an event is over

    Eww.... my post got cut >.< and lost all I typed.

    In short - make use of those people who are charging real money and buys packs. Just stack "pack items" and keep them till packs are gone. New tideborns will enjoy some of those items and will buy them for higher prices.

    Thought, decision of releasing Ani packs wasn't well planed at all...

    Little note from my previous big post: On paper this game and other PW games still look good, so it doesn't really matter. Revenue and shares' price is rising. Company is still releasing new games which are seen as biggest source of income. So yea... human factor has been lost in here ^^ Capitalists FTW

    Tbh, i dont buy them but.. I was hoping to have my herc & Nix once gold prices have settled :/ but now with the ani packs back ima have to wait again b:sadb:cry it was a bad idea bringing them back you should of had battle pet packs sale >.< :/.

    what does this mean? a perfect hammer is 2.5mil again.. I was waiting for the prices to go down to grab one, now I might as well forget it. thanks PWI, you made this game even harder for the non-cs players once again

    regardless of what some people think, i'm sure they will be losing players. first time around was reasonable, this is just a selfish act that the players will take notice of and remember how they are being treated.

    This event is not gd , i mean the return part (personal opinion). it should juz be 1 time then thats the end of the packs for this yr. u can make it come twice now who can promise it wont come the 3rd time? maybe in december u say: ah its christmas, lets have the anni packs back again.

    btw any 1 knows the probabilities of getting rare items out of the anni packs. i juz wanna know whether it is worth buying with 500k gold or not haha

    See, the thing is, gold prices will still rise, probably even more with a battle pet pack sale. People know that venos would try to get their pets then, rather than wait, and would raise prices. In essence, hell for venos anyway.

    Well, I honestly think they don't care about the players here. They loved the huge amounts of cash coming in and they wanted to see that once again.
    Rare stuff needs to be rare right? Why make those things common. You also **** up a whole ingame economy. It made many people leave, this will take more people out of the game.

    You took out all fun of this game, only to grow your stacks of money.

    Can we please.. pretty please, with a cherry on top... at the very least have The Duke not announce what people got? Please......

    If they filter out the chat, you won't be able to see what everyone else is getting. That way, they can still claim "Popular Demand" because you can see all the bright red text announcing the purchases.

    and if you think people don't leave over stuff like this you would be wrong. i played EQ2 for 4 years and dropped it not just because it was getting old to me.

    or perhaps they might think twice and not want to ruin the reputation of the game and patch in the removal of the packs ASAP. (knowing how most devs think this is doubtful since they like to make their own mistakes instead of listen to their confidant players, thanks EQ.... oops, did i say that out loud?)

    course gold prices will already be damaged for weeks stressing the non paying half of the players.

    all they are doing is shortening the lifespan of their game in hopes of making big cash up front. having people work their butts off to earn coins to only make them worthless with their greed.

    would i recommend this game to friends?

    probably not if they had plans of buying cash shop items or playing it for free, after seeing how things are fronted in an effort to make money quick which in turn hurts the economy and player morale.

    Edit: you know, after talking with a few people in-game I'm now thoroughly convinced that the number of 'complaints' on the forum don't represent even the most minute fraction of the actual player base.

    The packs are great; teleacoustics, inventory stones, event MP & HP regen items, socket stones, g7 gemstones, and a great list of other goodies have become much cheaper than they were before the events thanks solely to the tokens from the packs.

    two weeks after ani packs they realised wow, our gold sales are dropping. lets put back ani packs to get people to start charging again. In fact, they would love us... /sacarsm
