    hi! I am not sure if it's the PWIchannel list.... Have you read the submission rules? The contest has been closed (June 24 5pm) and is now in judging phrase which will take about a week.

    Anyway I watched your video and I came away with some ponderings and few giggles.

    Firstly, you have made some spelling errors. fallowing should be corrected as following. Why I giggled is the next sentence, "...rated PWI". So cute!

    Secondly, I am SHOCKED at the face. How can I ever achieve this ultra smooth look? Same for some scenes that show very clear and smooth frames that put my 3 videos to shame b:surrender The skills demo is truly eye candy, detailed and easy to see what it was being casted.

    Third, I suggest you show us the death with a surrealistic and grim scenes, painted in dark shades of grief. I saw a few players lying on ground while others stand...with genies floating around. Is it supposed to be the death scene?? I am not sure, so please enlighten me on this part, thanks!

    I have seen your video and it's awesome, esp the music when PWI logo was zooming. The class introduction is an old-school feel, remsinisce of Might and Magic game when I played that.

    I think you should reduce the numbers of flashing lights to ease on our eyes :) Imagine watching your video in dark theatre.....that reminds me of yoda's laser sword duel with darth vader (I think?), very flashy and saw stars on my eyes lol.

    That was that old movie starter effect when the logo came up. It wasn't music...

    I agree to the flashes. That's the fault I saw in mine.b:surrender I did edit and watch in the dark. But after a few times watching and editing my whole vid, my eyes were use to that part so I never took it out >.>. I guess I should've.

    @Kephras I had to get rid of the fraps watermark so I used a nice border for the movies. Plus lately I've had an addiction to grungy type effects. =P

    @Bludan Hehe, glad you liked the second one. I noticed I couldn't get away from the music video style. *lol* I always make amvs and it kind of took over while trying to make a trailer. Maybe there will be a music video contest next time! ^.^

    @Everyone Good luck and I can't wait to see the outcome. Hm, I'm really curious what the winners will choose for their prize. So many interesting mounts and aerogear to choose from. Personally, I'd go for the Cloudchase Gryphon. =D

    You should also watch the fps.The videos fps must be the same in your project when you edit it.When you export it also the fps must be the same. That`s one point, the other one could be the encoding you used. avi kinda lags for youtube as far as i saw. I recommend using QuickTime or .H264

    *UPDATE*
    I have watched all videos and I came up with my top 3 list in random order (not including mine!)

    1) Venorik by venorik - What can I say? My eyes feasted on the almost perfect smooth fps! Well-executed frames with precise timing on subs, sounds and voice-overs! I can understand what was said while subs were running across the lower part of screen! That is great for hearing impaired people like me!
    The plot is consistent within the pace of the story, from tender love to wild intense of fury in less than 4minutes. The ending is fantastic, with movie poster! Do watch out for his climatic skill buff, this is the scene I like most.

    2) Thrice Divide by Tatertotization My jaws drop when I saw the subs and soon read the subs without looking at video! I am so impressed with the great scriptwriting (despite some misspellings). It's like reading the Bible. Then I watched the video and my heart left the window. Truly no one else can do this kind of editing, except for venorik maybe. I like the scenes where their legs were shown walking on ground. I believe none of us have this idea! The angle was expressive in its gritty best. The ending is very artistic and I loved it!

    3) A Frog's Tale by WhinerPWI 2 words: Original and Cute. Yes, exactly what I thought of when I watched it. It's indeed refreshing after watching several videos. The best part was the opening of the video. The story pacing matches the timing of the actors, which I have trouble with my videos! The battles are as usual like in other videos but the ending is so CUTE......just watch and you'll know why I said that.


    I am very sure 2 out of these 3 will be winners! Will you agree with me?

    I doubt so. It may take few more days for them to be sure they have chosen the best 3. I can only estimate 3rd July, because 4th July is America's Independence Day, so they may want to have holidays after long weeks of policing PWI.

    Who knows the winners will rejoice with their parties and showing off their unreleased mounts till 4th of July :)

    MomoPai Yes your video is laggy but it doesn't take away the fact you're only one with the lagginess. My videos alos have that. Your strength lies in the number of players in your video. I have only 2 or 3 players to film.

    Do you know almost 70% of participants' videos have similar scenes of each city? Only the angles of the cities gave it vast difference in our own creativity.

    30% belongs to romance and comedy. So, rest assured that your video is not ignored but adored by all of us who are in the contest. b:victory
