    I'm not really using it in the comic since she's obviously missing her veno tail

    Here's a coloured example of the Yakasha lines. I know armour can get pretty confusing when it's just black and white. Also, just an fyi. I see a few people getting confused when colouring the mouths I draw. I never draw the top line of the upper lip. I only draw on the bottom lip and middle section (which is the bottom line of the upper lip)

    If the lips appear to be big, it's because the mouth is open and they're either exposing their teeth or the full mouth (if it's just teeth I leave it blank/white like in this example.) I find that drawing the upper lip really makes it look weird so I preffer to 'colour it on'.

    Oh goodness.. I toldaly forgot about this picture.. I got really sick and seemed to have forgotten a lot of things and I'm glad I spent today surfing the forums.. soo.. not much has changed on it.. and still all in Ms Paint..

    - Copy picture on a new layer
    - Delele the background layer, make another layer and make it a new white background.
    - Select the layer the pic is on and go to Channels tab
    - Select 'Load channel as selection' (bottom dotted ball) and press delete, then select 'Inverse' from the Select menu.
    - Go back to the Layer tab and color in the 'inverse' selected areas.
    - Voila! You got a line only layer complete with the tinyest of shades with no white spaces.

    I know this wasn't posted in this thread, but after Limeball posted my little Ophi in the comic thread, I've wanted to see her coloured! So I had a go myself. It's not great, and there are definitely mistakes - but this is the first time that I've had a proper go at colouring someone else's linework and I'm overall kinda happy with the outcome (if I don't look too hard at it!)

    No harm done Ophida, those were only teasers of what I had been working on anyway. I've got some more to add when I get off my lazy butt and hook up the scanner. Looks really pretty :D

    When I was drawing all these I suddenly realised I hadn't done a proper one of Limeball yet. I'd be super grateful if anyone could colour it lol. I took my favourite old set (After hours top, fingerless gloves, brawler skirt, steampunk boots) and tweaked it a little Limeball style 8D. She's even got my RL peircings.. cept the tounge peircing.. haven't got one.. YET! *-*

    Edit: @Limeball - Looking back at recent posts and READING them, I see you talked about your inking technique, and some of the things you have going on in your software world. Thank you for sharing. Good luck with inkscape. For coloring, I do believe there is some potential with that tool.

    You guys all colored them with a computer program... Sadly, I have no idea how to do that stuff.
    But I printed one out and actually colored it with pencils. Not my best work, I haven't done anything artistic in months, but I gave it a shot. :)

    ^^ I like it, it's cute. Sheesh, colored pencil I haven't touched in a loooooong time. They've been sitting in my car trunk in case I ever wanted them but with this insane heat they've probably melted ... or spontaneously combusted.
