Thought it might be interesting to get an idea of how many archers play with which builds. Please come in and be counted. Poll is private, your build will not be seen by other players by voting; hence your super secret strategies will not be revealed, and your build will not come under scrutiny.

Note that the build descriptions are listed with the perspective of an archer, I.E. while 'Hybrid' is described as having a significant contribution to vit, the expectation is that Dex is still the primary stat.

Pure
4 Dexterity / 1 Strength every level
(Also include "off-pure" builds with slight variations)


Hybrid
Significant contribution to Vit, little to no magic.


Heavy Armor / Melee (variant)


Mixed
Significant contributions to all 4 stats INCLUDING magic


The object of this thread is to get an idea of how everyone plays for interest; with that in mind I would prefer hearing about peoples 'more interesting' builds, than a flaming "this build are best n u r dumb" discussion.

    Pure dex here woot woot, I was debating on adding vit at one point though but meh.
    Making new char..Which one? I have a BM..but I want more damage and stuff to do..

    Experienced players contact with the cons n pros of there class and where to put points n what skills to up ASAP thanks..

    I play as pure, and do nearly everything according to your guide, Annor. It really helped me out IMMENSELY, since I am rather novice when it comes to archer skills. Many thanks.

    Hm...well build is one thing but there's also how you "build" your armor.

    You can choose vit/HP or +dex.

    Semi Hybrid ..... for a 80+ archer i go with 35 vit and a lot of +vit gear. 75 pts in strength (ofc the +strength in gear makes sure i can wear all latest armor) and the rest whole in dex. b:victory

    (still have to learn how to make mana to 3, still at 5 b:surrender)

    lmao, my build is rly bad, in others opinion, but I've never had problems with it.

    id go pure dex 1 str 4 dex im a hybird with 20 vit but im going pure dex 5 dex for some time till i get even up most lvl 90 archers are dex build

    Heavy armor melee build. All stat points split between Dex and Str to where I can equip TT70 bow and heavy armor with a few +stat items. Build is quite a bit of fun as it breaks up the monotony of pew pew with some melee action.

    I wasn't expecting that many Pures to be honest, I've seen alot of hybrids and in the begginer stages saw 90% Heavy with swords lol but never seen them again after that o.o

    on my archer i was going for tanking archer i can take lots of hits but hard to one shot ppl cause of the lack of agi but hard to random pk me cause of it =)

    I took the 4 Dex / 1 Str route (pure?). Figured that because I haven't been playing for very long, it was best to follow a pre-set strategy. I sometimes feel like a glass cannon, but I suppose that's the whole point: enemies never get close enough to you in order to find out how fragile you really are.

    Big 'thanks' goes out to all those 'Uber Archers' who have posted guides on this forum! This is one Newbie it's really helping out!

    I used hybrid (1 vit 1 str and 3 dex) till level 25 then ive done pure (1 str 4 dex) and i will do that for the rest.
