    Since genies uses skill poins (that they get when they level up)... Will it cost any coins? I'm guessing, no :P

    Doesnt have to be melee for veno to kite.

    But.... But..... But.... I have not yet begun to flame Xarfox... i'm being 'nice' (sorta) and waiting for more information about these Genies before I turn the valves up to full on my flame thrower... lol.

    Few maters for the Gm's b:victory

    1:Please let us be able to kill them i know there probaly not gone be that powerfull but mixt with a Barbarian this could end really wrong.

    2:U cant work this update without letting veno's use it wich is wat youll do if it will serve as main pet infact maybe beter have it stays summond at always like a fairy floating around waiting for us tell it to do something like whipe away the bleed a veno hit me with b:laugh



    Anyway seems like an awsome idea could be fun to train this Genie and test who has the best 1b:victory
    Ooo I know lets roll pvp server so i can QQ about pking...

    id still like to know if we get anything else other than the genies

    oh and why are ppl still griping bout the unbalances? it all seems fairly balanced to me, but then again im not on pvp server b:sad

    Or that there are ways of closing the distance to the veno.

    No problem it wasnt just aimed at you. Because Venos actually have more than 20% to win against other classes in PvP now. Since they are no longer the easy pickings and have to actually be takin for more than an after thought they feel threatened.

    blood clot => anti veno w/ phoenix : Phoenix/any pet with bleed = useless

    All class pet => kinda nice but it adds to the lag effect.

    Kinda useless for a veno cuz she can only use 1 pet. (op if they can use 2)

    Implement = makes PW more uglier than before.

    Just fix the fing bug.

    PS: Do these Genies grant 3 wishes?

    It only makes the bleed effect useless iff the CD is the same as or lower than the bleed effect.

    Just fix the fing bug.

    I've been wondering if the problem can even be fixed at all which might be the reason it was never fixed to begin with.

    Yes i know that the pet has a range limitation however this range exceeds that of an archer. If someone is running from you how do you close the distance? At 89+ hell venos are the fastest on land (10.4ms constant movement speed) and everyone is the same speed in the air. Please again explain how?

    Could you maybe explain to me please how its possible for a veno to move that fast at level 89?

    Lets do the math:
    Starting movespeed (no buffs): 5.2m/s or 5.3m/s
    Summer Sprint lvl 3 (lvl 89 skill): *Starting movespeed* + 35% = ~7.155m/s
    Demon Summer Sprint lvl 4 (lvl 92 skill): *Starting movespeed* + 45% = ~7.685m/s
    Demon Fox Form lvl 4 (lvl 89 skill): *Starting movespeed* + 45% + 60% = ~12.296m/s

    Please note, i'm pretty sure Demon Fox Form's movespeed stacks with Demon Summer Sprint, but i cant prove if its wrong or correct.
    All calculations were done with *Starting Movespeed* = 5.3m/s
    Also note, Demon Fox Form speed buff lasts only 6 seconds.

    If the veno had an archer buff on, that'll add another 15% movespeed:
    With demon fox form:
    *Starting Movespeed* + 45% + 60% + 15% = ~14.14m/s
    Without demon fox form:
    *Starting Movespeed* + 45% + 15% = ~9.20m/s

    So, unless that veno has insane + movespeed items, or an archer buff, i dont see its possible for him to move at a constant 10m/s speed b:sad
    Would have been nice though b:laugh

    EDIT: Errors fixed. I'm pretty sure my calculations are correct now :P

    This information is wrong, please people, stop posting it. Venomancers can use Genies, this has been said by Xarfox a couple times now.

    They do not, repeat do not, function the same as pets. Venomancers should be able use them in conjunction with pets (what Xarfox said, although awaiting confirmation).

    A lot of details have yet to be released, if you're unsure about your claims please check Xarfox's posts in this thread. I have decided to be nice and list of them all so far for you below. If he hasn't said it then it's probably just speculation.

    Post 1 - Initial post that started the thread.
    Post 2 - How to get Genies.
    Post 3 - Elements question.
    Post 4 - General questions.
    Post 5 - Abilities, availability, & equipment.

    With demon fox form and lv3 summer sprint. 10.4 is wat shows up in the character screen if you dont believe me i'll log and take a screenie. You may say demon fox form's speed increase only last 6 secs but the cooldown on fox form is also 6 secs. Therefore you simply switch human>fox>human every 6 secs and have insane movement speed. This works because the speed activates when the skill is used and is not specific to the form you are in i.e the speed increase procs when you go fox>human as well as when you go human>fox.

    Have fun with the insane speed
