    The 3 day period will pass whether you're online or offline or logging on and off constantly. Just *DON'T* touch any of the safety lock stuff during that time or the timer will reset back to the 3 day.

    Yeah, I figured it out. That's why I won't log in until thursday (or Wednesday). If I'm locked, it's pointless to play. :(

    you should also include no pking allow IF you are blue name, cuz my brother used my acc so he can grind for me while i was away for 2 days, i set timer just to be safe, while was he bored of grinding, he pk the hell out of it -_- tick all my charms and lost my boots from pk death

    Technically, account sharing is a bannable offense, no ifs, ands, or buts. If your brother, best friend, coworker, or Fred from the soccer league who sometimes drops by your house after practice for a couple cold ones want to play some PWI, they have to get their own account.

    cant turn off my safety lock, this is the 3rd time i enter the game and it starts over, counting 2h (which was first value i added), even tried with 1 min duration and it stays the same 2h all over again...
    please help

    Remember, when you look at the Safety Lock settings, it shows the CURRENT duration settings. Since it takes three days to change, it's going to continue to show twenty hours during those three days. Set it to one minute, then wait three days and DON'T TOUCH IT AT ALL EVER EVER EVER NEVER EVER during that time.

    Why does it have to restart each time?! That's stupid.
    It's to prevent "hackers or someone that has your account information that you **** off" from deleting everything that you own immediately. They would have to wait the set time frame as well and hopefully get discouraged.

    If people would actually read what the Safety Lock disables then they wouldn't touch it to begin with. By default it's only set to 1 minute, "omg I have to wait a whole minute to do anything!". People find anything to bicker and complain about, this is a free game to play after all. Just log in, go grab a drink or something and by the time you're back the lock has already been deactivated. If you clicked and didn't read then that's your own fault and suffer the consquences. -_-

    Can one of the MOD's make a thread for the morons that play PW ? I can see how fustrated you MOD's and GM's must be just be reading the stupidity of some people that play this game. Obviously this requires an IQ lvl as well as the system requirements. b:surrender

    Hi,

    My english isnt very good but i'll try explain as good as i can.

    It started with that i "found" a new buttom that i never seen before, the safety lock.
    I didn't read what it said i just changed it to 24hours 59minutes and pressed "ok". Don't know why, i think i was just testing it..
    So now i can't sell/trade anything because of the lock.
    So i thought maybe i can change it back to 1min. That i did, but i still cant sell anything.
    So i tried to relog but it stil sais : Current Time: 24 59 minutes
    Time remaining: 16 hours 17 minutes (it has gone a few hours since i first changed it)

    So what should i do now? I've heard that you have to wait three days until it changes?
    And, shoulden it say: current time : 1 minute? because i changed?
    Or?

    Please help me! Dont know what i should do..

    Change it to 1 minute, then don't touch it EVER AGAIN. It will reset in 72 hours.

    but i did already changed it to 1 minute, then reloged?
    then the current time changed back to 24 h 59m?

    But after i reloged. i got an DC maybe it affected it?

    Do i have to be online all time?

    No, but it takes 72 hours to reset it. So don't touch it after setting it to 1 minute. The time did NOT change back to 25 hours.

    hi, did another thread yesterday but can't find it =/

    So just got one more question.

    I accidently changed it 24 hours...

    Then someone told me to change it to 1 minute, and never touch it agai.
    So i changed it to 1 min.
    THen it said:
    Current time : 1 minute
    Time Remaining: 24 hours

    That was yesterday.
    Today when i got back from work i logged in and just checked the safety lock buttom.

    Now it sais : Current time 24 hours
    Time remaining : 24 hours


    Shouldn't it still say current time 1 minute?

    Please help.

    If i'm not mistaken, it takes 3 days for a safety lock to change its time. (from 24 hours to 1 min, for example)

    Yes you are correct..
    But i just wanna know if its suppose to say current time : 24 hours
    When i changed it to 1 minute yesterday..

    So i dont waste three days..
    My inventory/stash is full, can't trade, cant sell anything, cant buy anything.. Cant look at auction..
    Kinda enoying.

    Here's the rundown of how it works.

    1) You accidentally change your safety lock to X time.
    2) You go OH NOEZ!!!1 (I did...this happened to me my second day playing this game).
    3) You then change the time back to one minute.
    4) Now, and this is the most important part, so I'm gonna emphasize it:

    You must NOT touch the safety lock function for the next 72 hours! Yes, it'll look like the change hasn't taken place, but it's SUPPOSED to be that way. Think of it as a request of your shorter time being sent into the servers, being evaluated, then changed after the 72-hour period. So yes, after you change the time back to 1 minute THE FIRST TIME, do not touch it EVER AGAIN.

    It is unfortunately true that the Safety Lock will still work for the 24-hour time for the next three days, but after that three-day period is up, PROVIDED YOU HAVE NOT TRIED TO CHANGE THE TIME AGAIN, it will finally return to one minute. If you change it AT ALL during that time, THE 72-HOUR CLOCK IS RESET!

    I dont agree with safety lock.

    can u guys change it like easy to access.

    Theres another problem when i AFK my cousin turned on safety lock.

    Pls solve this problem

    but there is a little importance that set up new system in web site to turn on and off it, when someone log in to website.

    i sent to tikets and no awsers i pass more than 72 hours w that crazy safety lock and i still have it , was a mistake that cost me more than 3 days of play,:angry
