    78h has passed and the settings that i gave (back to 1 minute) has not been applyed...what i have to do now?

    Okay, this is buggin me:

    40% of times when I log in, the safety lock is on, for one minute, why is that?

    By default, the safety lock is set to one minute and will always be on for this duration. The reason you sometimes don't see it probably stems from the fact that the timer starts when you log into your account, not when you log into a character, and it doesn't start over when you swap characters (assuming you don't go all the way back to the login screen).

    What about my problem? i did as your instruction said, and still nothing is happend

    You set it to one minute and didn't touch it AT ALL for more than three days?

    yes, i opened it (80h ago? more atm didn't counted) got it back to 1m, then pressed OK 2 times, then, i just didn't touched the Safe lock anymore (for ALL you mean even don't log in for 3 days? on the instrunctions don't say that). Checked today and still 24h :/

    If is possible, someone unlock my char!!

    Sorry to double post, but i need a fast reply, because if i have ALSO to NEVER log-in for 3 days, i have to know now, so i can remedy early instead of wait more :/

    my safety lock is never get down to 0.
    i put in 24h by mistake and now i cant sell my stuff.
    i have w8ting for 4 days now and everytime i log on it start over at 24h.
    plz GM i need you to get my safety lock off so i can return and play.

    Just keep your account on overnight. That's what I had to do. Doing it today would be good because the maintenance was yesterday.
    I did the same thing when I first started...all because I was impatient for that one little minute to count down.

    Um... I accidentally did my safety lock the longest because i didn't read what it would disable.i know it is my fault but it is really boring with this activated. can someone please tell me how to disable it other than changing it and waiting 3 days pleaseeee.
    I also just want to tell you that the safety lock is uselessb:angryb:cryb:shockedb:sad

    I am a new here ,and I cant drop items and sell by NPC,because safety lock still active.Can I disable him because my safe and invetory is full,and I cant play.

    Go back and read past posts as it say you will have to wait 72hrs.You don't have to be logged in but go back read prior posts.

    If i would of known that there was a safty lock ,, it's cause i've posted tickets , and asked help from a GM in the game ,but i get no answer... on May 23,2009 someone **** my account , and no one ,and i mean know one knows my password......my wife that i live with knows my password , and never goes on my Barb,,,,i logged on my wifes cleric and saw my Barb logged on.. i tried contacting my self ,,, but it was someone else that **** it... i was b:angry So i asked my wife did you give my ifo to anyone ,, she said NO! she hardly talks to anyone in game ,,,she' more independant....I tried talking to the person that **** my account ,,, and he repeatingly told me that he's not going to give my account back,,, then tells me ok i'll give it back in a week.... so the smart thing i did was screen shot the whole conversation , and submitted a ticket , and uploaded everything..... the i logged my account , and saw my LVL 72 Barb NAKED ,, and i mean it was like he was LVL 1 all over again ,, all my TT70 gear from head to toes was gone ,, my LVL 70 clamity axes ,, 2 socket gone , panther gone , genie gone , and everthing was a big slap in the face ,,,,,,, i spend numerous Months, Days , Hours , lvling and grinding ,, as i don't charge Zen , i use mostly game coins to make my Barb beefy... now i lost all hope, but still i have hope that you GM's can fix this ...............and counting the fact that my Faction counts on me to help them Tank bosses ... wow Why do they do this ,,, PLZ GM"S ,, find this hacker ,, get his IP, and BAN him from PWI forever,,, and hoping i can get everything that i had , back in one peace..... i'll be forever ,, you salve if you get me all my stuff,, (hehehehe )....but serious , i love this game ,,, it keeps me Zhen :) get back to me GM's anything ,,, hoping i get it all back and that this hacker Pays for his evil doings .... your #1 PWI fan Distruptive ....     I would say this atleast you still had your Barb who care if everything is gone atleast he is still lvl xx and you still have all your skills.I don't think I would give my pw to my wife.There are games like another one I play where they can after selling everything deleted that char.I do like the 7 day meditate time it take to delete a char.

    Your post isn't really a safety lock issue, please only post in relevant threads, or make a new one.

    The best thing that you can do is send a ticket to Customer Support here: http://support.perfectworld.com/ticketing

    We do not discuss personal account issues on the forums.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    I just logged in one morning before scool 26/5-2009.

    logging , gonna sell some old grinding loot to npc. cant do it . then i notice that my safety lock was enable , didnt do anything , because i could sell items before i went to slepp. Wired. please remove it from my account , or remove the whole function. its just stupid, or at least get and Enable/Disable button thats need a password of ur own choise. Thx on for hand

    I thought of that idea, too.
    Choose a password for Safety Lock when you log in with your character at the first time....but I think very good hackers can even **** this password b:surrender

    please gm , remove the damn safety lock. the time just restart when im logging out. im so pissed , it have been on for 5 days now and it is for all chars. DO SOMETHING !!!!

    I thought the same thing than you....When you first log in choose a password for the Safety Lock and always when you wanna activate/deactivate it, type in your password.

    We have had some users complain about setting the miss-setting Safety Lock. Please note the Safety Lock is on by default for 1 minute, this CAN NOT be lowered, only change to a higher time and day. So please think before you go through the process of messing with it b:victory

    If you have accidentally set the Safety Lock for too long, here are the steps to change it.
    1. Go to the Safety Lock window
    2. Set the Safety Lock time to 1 minute
    3. Confirm the time change
    4. Wait three days

    You do not have to remain logged in during the three day period, nor will logging in/out affect this wait time. However, if you try to change your Safety Lock settings again during this time, the seventy-two hour waiting period WILL restart, so please be patient.

    Currently, the default setting for the Safety Lock is one minute. In other words, after logging in, you will have to wait for one minute before you are able to perform any of the actions mentioned below. The issue that many users are experiencing occurs when they change the Safety Lock duration. For instance, if you change the duration to two hours, then every time you log in, on any character, you will need to wait two hours before performing the aforementioned actions. The Safety Lock CAN NOT be deactivated before the set time has elapsed, nor are GMs able to turn it off for you.

    now im so tired of this , make a new patch without the safety lock . u get so many complains , dont u think its time to act ?

    RAWHR , do something before people stops playing.
