It might take a little while, but they will take care of you. The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. One of my 3 accounts (for my kids and I) was hacked. No strange activity or questionable behavior, but they (hackers) got in and stripped everything. Support was responsive and very helpful. We only ended up losing…
DDO did exactly that a couple of years ago. Every 20 epic chest openings/per character yields choice of epic item for that dungeon. RNG is fine if a limit is established.
That's a good way to express it. I ended up with 1400 medallions, 16 dye packs, 4 rank 5s, no companion. Apparently, I was your dog killing accomplice.
I agree with all your advice/input and I really want to try out a new, more well thought out, engagement strategy. I love the thaumaturge line and do want to stay with it on my main CW. I will have to put points in SotEA in my respec. I already have Chilling Cloud maxed as I use it in group play. I do follow Grimah very…
Thanks for all the great info. I would like to understand a bit more of the strategy with this build. I'm an HV Thaumaturge and generally run with this loadout for dailies and solo instances; AoE: At-wills: MM / RoF Class features: Storm spell, Eye of the Storm Mastery: Chill Strike Encounters: Sudden Storm, Steal Time, EF…
Bearing arms is actually pretty awesome. I thought it was a competition problem, at first, but you will get credit for every warrior freed/armed if you participate in the fight. You do not have to be grouped with the other players to get completion. I thought I would share this surprisingly pleasant surprise....
I was going to enter both of these issues from my 1st run through with my CW. I was able to mess around with the inventory full bug and did finally loot the chest, but I still have the uncompleted seizing power quest.
Me too. This seems to be account based. I have not been receiving my AD reward for the last few weeks on my main account. Others in the group are getting the reward, by the way. Any ideas on the root cause?
This reflects the ultimate truth for me. -BoP may "force" some number of folks to run dungeons a small number of times. -BoE "enabled" everyone to run dungeons an infinite number of times. I'd rather enable my player base than force them into anything. A strategy that increases the choices for players is usually better…
I have no doubt that you are correct. There is definitely an opportunity for a great deal more income. Most folks (I'm assuming, as this group includes everyone I know) are waiting for the light to come on at Cryptic and see realistic pricing before jumping into the market place with cash. prices are just too far out of…
You do get a lot of junk filling up your bags, but it is less bothersome, to me, to pause every 40-50 minutes and throw away junk than to deal with the non-stop loot spam in need/greed/pass. As I said earlier, I only run Round-Robin looting in my circle and I can assure you that there is no sequencing or other odd…
I agree that if you look up the term "round-robin" it will be defined much as you state, but as a long time user of this loot method, I can assure it does not work that way in game. All loot is pre-assigned before it hits the ground. You can never pick up anything and loot will continue to fall pre-assigned to all party…
When I run with my guild, I set loot rules to "round robin". It is so nice to never even see or hear anything about loot during a run. No need for "need", "greed" or "pass". Loot is distributed by an automatic greed roll. If you see loot on the ground it is yours. I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned this???
You sir, are spot on. I am the only one of my tight circle of NWO players that even bothers with the forums anymore. It is because of the tremendous effort to sift through the whining and vitriol that is required to get to the meaningful information. (which is often amazingly intelligent and insightful) I'm OK with that…
Sticking to the original questions; I would like them to be offered monthly. I think that would be a very nice frequency. (I would like them to be 1 week long; patch day to patch day) I definitely want all the rewards, some more than others: I like having companion options, even though I will always use my stone in group…
I absolutely agree. It is either a huge coincidence, or aggro range has increased. I have always been able to focus on single groups in Sharandar, but last night had several fights that became 2 and 3 group battles. Exciting, but unplanned. Others may have a different play style and not notice this effect. I play a CW and…
We use Skype, as well. Simple, easy, free, and seems to be an invisible load on the game. I'm not sure how to monitor the bandwidth usage, but I don't see any degradation in gameplay with Skype active. (great for my usual 2-man group)
My main and 1st level 60 was my cleric. (always my favorite class) My 1st toon in BW1 was also a DC. My cleric holds my enchants/wards/stuff and does Leadership tasks after daily prayers. I play my CW every day. I have 1 of every class at 60 and play them all on occassion, except my original main, the DC. I will not play…
