Am I just playing sloppy today or did they increase the agro range of mobs. Seems I agro 2 or 3 encounters at once in Sharandar now.

I didn't feel there was an increase. Sometimes I do get bigger pulls but I just put it down to lag meaning patrols are not where I thought etc or that I have unintentionally strayed to far into Barbican Ruins where they usually mob me from all directions if I'm not ultra careful, but they've never liked my cleric me there.

But who knows, see if it stays the same over next few days. (Maybe they were not seeing enough deaths.)

I was still able to zigzag between mobs I didn't want to waste time on, same as usual.

I absolutely agree. It is either a huge coincidence, or aggro range has increased. I have always been able to focus on single groups in Sharandar, but last night had several fights that became 2 and 3 group battles. Exciting, but unplanned.

Others may have a different play style and not notice this effect. I play a CW and distance and position are key. I doubt that a melee player would notice any difference.

(or it could just be a weird coincidence)

I've ended up dodging in a fight such that it pulled in a nearby group, and you also need to consider that there are patrols.

I have only taken melee characters to 60 though, so I can't comment on how mobs react to being attacked from a distance.

My thoughts on aggro range are primarily based on the player's ability to not aggro mobs if you don't walk or ride too close to them. Since there isn't a large margin for error in this, I view it as unchanged. If range were noticeably increased, I doubt it would be possible to sidestep mobs this way.

I could sidestep mobs as usual, but its once your engaged in combat that you become more likely to pull in other groups around you. Seems like in-combat agro range is increased.

That accurately describes my experience, as well.
