Why does it take two minutes to change instances? Dailies...

Dailies are the last refuge of the lazy developer. A great way to work without using any creativity.. Gather this.. kill this many of those... WoW, WoW, WoW.

So when doing my completely boring, hideous dailies that make want to die.. Why am I always thrust into the fullest possible instance?

If the mind numbing dailies weren't terrible enough, now I have to fight 50 other players to gather a "Fey Flower"? And I can't get away from them for 2 minutes.

Please rethink this garbage.

Except for ones that involve killing specific enemy types, most of the dailies in Sharandar and Dread Ring won't have you fighting with other players over them because every single person can click on them without affecting other players. There are a few exceptions, but the Fey Flower one isn't one of them.

I can't remember the exact quest, it's either fey flower or plant seedling..

Plant seedlings is fine in that regard too.

In the first section of Sharandar, the only quest with the issue is By the Roots, and only the blighted beasts part.

I think there are even more in the second part, but I'm not sure.

Second part has the poisoned scouts; third part is worst in this regard, having the dryads and hounds and captured warriors.

Second area is fine for all collecting quests and even one of the kill X enemies quest is fine since you click an item to summon them. Edit: Forgot about the scouts.

Third area has 3. Of which, one gives credit to all players standing nearby. That one being Bearing Arms. The other 2 are given out by the same NPC so you never have both on the same day.

That being said, I have never had much issue finding another spot since only a handful of people in your instance will be doing the same quest at that time and there are plenty more spots to trigger in the quest area.

Bearing arms is actually pretty awesome. I thought it was a competition problem, at first, but you will get credit for every warrior freed/armed if you participate in the fight. You do not have to be grouped with the other players to get completion. I thought I would share this surprisingly pleasant surprise....

Nice to know - in fact all of these types of quests should work this way.....

Nevertheless it would be nice and conveinient if you could change instance at campfires at any time.
I often log in, see a party for celadaine, call out for an invite and then the others have to wait (or I have to wait) until all can move to the same instance.

The same in PE, I find someone to make a deal but can not meet him due to the 2 minutes restriction.

in less then 2 minutes you can mount up, run to a door, go to another place, come back and be in the same instance as your party. Simple work arounds
