Some people sell items for.. well Gold/Silver/Copper < You won't see this that often. The real catch is Astral Diamonds. You get these through Leadership, Praying to your God, completing daily quests, participating in Events (those little bar things that are sticking out of your mini-map). You get them in the form of Rough…
The reason for having so many strikers coming out is very simple. You're always going to have more classes meant for Dealing Damage than anything else in a game, for various reasons. 1) DPS IS FUN! LOOK AT THE NUMBERS!!!! - Face it.. people love to kill ****. Smite it with fire, crush it with force, dice it up with blades.…
Oh my god... I'm a Guardian! GG GUYS! I WON THE GAME! Kidding. But on a serious note I really love the Greycloak weapon. Considering it was given to people who were given beta access, and on the pretense that those people actually used their beta time to the fullest (debatable), it really helps breezing through those early…
http://wow.joystiq.com/2009/11/13/blizzard-arenas-were-a-mistake/ For your reading enjoyment.' So I ask you the question.. why do we need this? Why are we talking about this? We only have 5 classes, not even the basic 8 yet. Let's take a minute to think about what you guys are asking for. How do we balance teams that are…
Getting hit with Dazing Strike is a death sentence for squishies in this game. And even if it doesn't lead to a kill, you're going to be hurting quite a bit from the combo they land following that. Now, take this with a grain of salt. I played until 40+ GWF during BW3-4, and am now starting into a Rogue which I've gotten…
No where in this thread was it stated that we want this class before the Archer, and no where was it stated that the Archer shouldn't exist or be forgone for any amount of time. I'm not exactly sure what the purpose of your post was, but it definitely didn't need to be stated. I just wanted people's opinions on what they…
That was quite the interesting read, and I'm still not even close to being done with it. It certainly gives me an idea of what to expect in terms of what attacks it'll be using. (Although it doesn't describe the abilities outside of rating them from good to bad, I guess I'll have to look them up individually). But that…
I'm assuming the Storm Warden is the Duel-Wielding spec that Rangers do to do damage? Also, do you have any idea or links to how this transfers into the 4E of D&D?
I'm pretty sure the Archer is coming before the Two-Blade. But this thread isn't about that. It's just asking what people would want out of it, and sharing information about it that people might know who are more versed in 4E D&D than others. So, what do you guys want out of it? Maybe we can help them out :D
Wouldn't that be a bit silly considering there's a class directly dealing with Bows and Arrows? I don't think they'll give the TBR a ranged attack. Especially if you think the DPS will be around a Rogue's.
Silly peasant. Only those of us who want to burn 200 dollars get the right to enjoy something like that at launch! Joking aside, it still kinda stings. 2 months for something so simple, that people feel very strongly about. It definitely -feels wrong-, but aside from raising a stink about it, that's all we can do.
I'm aware. I was agreeing with you. I didn't enjoy TERA's ground-targeted AoE aiming structure, as I pointed out. I like to think, graphics aside, that each MMO has that X-factor. That thing that encompasses something about the game that charms you. TERA was beautiful, but it didn't have that.. "it" for me. Neverwinter…
Yeah, I agree with this. All of the spells fired off a set distance from you. There wasn't a lot of leeway in your range. Of course, this is natural, since a Sorc can kill you in just a few seconds flat with their Fireblast/Inferno/Whatever attack. Especially when glyphed properly. I will say this though, I am missing my…
You really think so? Combat wise I find Neverwinter superior, to be honest. Or at the very least, roughly the same. When it was still sub-based I made it to end-game, had all the best gear on a Zerk, Slayer, and was working on a Sorc before I just got bored. Not sure what it was, but TERA was just too... easy, really.…
In TERA 20k Crits are actually pretty common for characters like Slayer and Berserker and Sorcs. I know this because before I quit, I had max level of both of those classes, with the best end-game gear. Just saying And they get even higher as you go.
http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?83951-Demo-Recording-AKA-how-to-make-awesome-videos-screenshots I've seen your guys' Guild Trailer. You might enjoy this little tool, since you guys seem to have some members who are interested in video editing. Make your own characters doing slo-mo destruction, showing RP,…
I'd really like to join this guild, however, I lack the information needed to properly fill out the application. The classes I'm interested in haven't been released yet, so I haven't been able to come up with any conducive story behind them. However, I do have you guys bookmarked, and will definitely send in an application…
Oh, I would never argue that fact. And I appreciate your opinion. However, my post was directed towards the OP (Something that I should've pointed out, just in case), but something the OP has done was cite D&D for this option. Not just wanting it for flavor, because we all want flavor. But using D&D to backup your argument…
Okay, so what I'm getting is, you want to be a Devote Cleric. But instead of using a symbol as your weapon, you want to use a Mace. Basically? So you want an artificial choice on what your character "uses". I hope if you wish for this, you understand and know for a fact it'll probably be a while until that happens. The…
It seems to me that because it's not out RIGHT NOW, people think that the class they want to play won't be available, ever, in this game. Cleric: Devoted or Battle Fighter: Guardian or Great Weapon Paladin: Avenging or Protecting Ranger: Archer or Two-Blade Rogue: Trickster or Brawny Warlock: Deceptive or Scourge Warlord:…
What's better than one sword? TWO OF COURSE! I'd love to have a Martial Arts class. I'd buy a HoN Pack if I could have that instead of faerie fire elf.
There's still a solid trinity in this game. And there's nothing wrong with the trinity. ESPECIALLY in this game. Tanks have to do a LOT of work in order to Tank. From damage, to good taunts, and lots of resource/skill management. This is the most active tank role I've seen in an MMO. And the same goes for all the classes.…
I usually felt the same in the other "Floaty" MMOs. It's all the same nonsense with different animations. Tanks are all about aggro/damage. Mages are about control/damage. Healers... well in the other games they're just there as healbots, so it's good to see them having other stuff to do besides hitting their HoT and heal…
