I understand that the only way to find new quests is to search on the Best tab, by the short code. You can't search them by name until they have a certain number of plays. How often are you guys accessing the gateway? I tend to do it almost every work day at lunchtime (from my work PC) and I almost never have this issue. Yes, anything that gives XP will still help level your companion at 60. I've been leveling mine by finishing quests I still have in the later zones, as well as from my Leadership tasks.
