I also outleveled skirmishes and dungeons too easy, but enjoyed my first 60 nonetheless. After that though, it was a hard grind to level up other characters. You knew the quests and the areas and nothing is more boring than repetition. I would agree to decelerate leveling IF you could acquire some gear that still has some…
Though the 4th boon is completely HAMSTER and I'm not even sure you should be going for it over Fey Blessings. It's a ~3 (!!) DPS increase for me bc it only procs once every century. 5th boon (deflect damage) is ~+40 at least.
Thx for the work, very interesting. The effect might be minor though as I personally don't slot ArPen and hit the 24% cap anyway through DEX+gear. Purists could squeeze out more power with blue rings/belts/amus, but I'm perfectly fine with my 10k. Power vs. Crit: For PVE all my testing point towards Power>Crit with…
If you're not eager to complete the campaign as soon as possible, collect quests two days and complete the area on the third. That way you'll only get 7 of 9 quest items, but it saves a lot of time. I rotate six chars (two chars every day) that way which made it much less grindy.
I'm not in a guild so never experienced anything of GG, but my impression was that you can only access the dungeon if your faction wins. And that is pretty much unpredictable according to the wiki?
I'd love it, but do you honestly think Cryptic/PWE would cut their own profit? No way. Keys surely top the list of items that generate ZEN sales. I mean even if you make those keys BoP, just no way.
I am not opposed to BoP, BUT getting your items through runs is a sincere grind. I'm trying to get my Grand Regent set as of now and after 15+ DD runs I still only have the armor. I don't know how casual players can get any T2 set in a reasonable time. 10% for a T2 drop, although you can choose between the sets now, is way…
If think it's quite the opposite: Because players still buy items even at these prices, PWE can raise the bar. Besides: Newest items will always be a little overpriced as the demand is higher. And while very few directly purchase ZEN to buy the mount, 4k are still "only" about 1.4k AD, which is affordable for active…
The situation might also be a bit worse now because so many accounts are banned. I'd hope it gets better by the end of the week assuming that at least some will come back to the game after their temporary absence.
These were minor drops that weren't affected by the new BoP rules. Seal items have increased a lot for sure, I did spend a good amount of ADs to get them while they were cheap. Was a good investment. But yeah, I agree that salvaging items for more than the original cost is just doing business. That alone hints what this…
People bought items form the auction house prior to the patch for 3-5k that could be salvaged for twice as much after the patch. Bans for that are a major joke, because patches change the value of items all the time (Stalwart anyone?). BUT the gained rough ADs are "sponsored" by Cryptic/PWE and if you pickpocket them,…
Touche ;) I agree with the thread starter btw. There has to be some sort of clarification about what's allowed and what's not. Otherwise it's just frustrating to see what people are able to come away with while others are banned for **** (comparably).
It's rather funny to see people trying to reason their case. Of course the Nightmare boxes were exploited. There is nearly no way in the world an individual is so HAMSTER that he or she actually thought the devs upped the drop rate about 2000% without any mention in the patch notes. And in regard of the sharing exploit:…
Not in the patch notes: One invulnerability bug was fixed, probably because it had gone public on one of the bigger exploiting communities yesterday. So guys using this since beta (assumption) are finally grounded. No news about banned accounts because of this though. Of course not .
