I have 4 level 60 characters. I'm working on keying the last of them for Malabog now. And none of them have advanced in the campaign beyond that point.

The dailies are mind-numbingly easy, boring, and tedious. If the campaign had more than one delve, and a way to progress the campaign via dungeon delves, I would continue to advance in it. But when I log on, I do so to play with my guildmates and friends, and the daily quests are just not as much fun as group activities. They're boring and tedious, and the boon rewards are minimal. I doubt I will ever finish the campaign on a single character.

This game desperately needs more activities for guilds to participate in as a guild. It's nice that there's tons of solo content and dungeons for pick up groups, but after 6 months there's nothing my guild can do as a guild that can't be done solo or in a pick up group. No raids, can't even queue for Gauntlgrym as a guild, and 99% of the expansion is solo content.

Agree on the daily setup. Frankly I wish they would just allow foundry missions that meet their goals to at least randomly provide new content instead of the slog of kill xyz 3 missions that rotate daily. Or more than one instance at the end of the 3 quest daily chain. I play a lot of solo and enjoy the story but this model makes me want to throw my comp out the window. it feels like a lazy gate to keep players from blasting through content.

The worst is the unlock for the 3rd zone which basically forces you to wait another two weeks to build up enough sparks to unlock the key. That's right you finally cleared and built up enough to unlock the last area and now before you can head in you have to build up 160 sparks. it is just frustrating and not fun at all.

Agreed with it being overly tedious. I do have 5 characters though which kind of makes it worse... I don't advise playing with 5 characters...

When the new module hits they will probably reduce the spark requirement, I have five characters as well but only two are progressing through the feywild and collecting flowers.

If you're not eager to complete the campaign as soon as possible, collect quests two days and complete the area on the third. That way you'll only get 7 of 9 quest items, but it saves a lot of time. I rotate six chars (two chars every day) that way which made it much less grindy.

Only having 1 method of progressing through the campaign is what makes it really tedious, because even with only 1 character you're doing the same damned thing every day to progress. Makes it very grindy. The beauty of the game on release was that no matter how many different characters I made I had different methods of progression to get to 60. There's the main storyline, dungeon delves, PvP, foundries - which in themselves I could level multiple characters to 60 never doing the same thing twice. Releasing a campaign with one straight and narrow path to completion was a huge step backwards for this game.

Ranncore nailed it. I been wondering why after enjoying the game so much that with this campaign I pretty much wanted to stop playing my main. it because this is the first time I don't have a choice to progress. its also the first zone where there is not the standard story progression that I actually enjoyed so much I am taking a new toon through each zone just to do the story and not out level it. Heck I wish they would add "epic mode" to each zone so that you can run thorugh the story with more difficulty but get more rewards at the end (say bunch of AD after completing a zone on epic mode).

The grind doesnt feel too bad to me.

It was fairly easy to get all the crescents you need and once i unlocked Malabog then there was no reason to do anything but Malabog for the swords and then the quests for the sparks.

Heck at the very moment of unlocking third area i had 100 more crescents than i need to unlock every other boon.

Maybe it was just me though. I am sure having 3 other characters would make it tedious at best.

Honestly, I use the dailys to smash gobbos and trolls while I wait for DD. The rewards are bonus. If they add in a themed PvP map with its own fey progression that would be cool too. A contest for the best foundries featuring Sharandar content could be held with the winning dungeon masters being rewarded with unique feywild fashions. And the foundries themselves be placed into official rotation.

The gatherers have come to the forefront bearing baskets full of flower petals, allow their labors to be given an avenue of progression as well.

There is hope good sir, and it awaits us in module 2.
