I don't know that not being able to dye weapons is a bug. I'm pretty sure it's a design decision. However, it is a stupid design decision, and in my opinion, whoever made it should get slapped in the face. There are quite a few art issues I have with this game, and I wish I had the art team's email, cause I don't…
What skills aren't using Armor Pen properly? I just got a CW to 60 and I'm trying to gear him up so his stat allocation is ideal, but if Armor Pen isn't working right, that will change how I gear him. At least, till they (*IF* they) fix it.
Doubt it will ever look like that again. Remember how hammers used to be huge? Now they look like mallets. I'm fairly certain someone in the art department keeps taking all the cool looking weapons and altering them to look lame after everyone collects them.
I don't like it. I PuG MC. I'm not in a guild. I don't have regular friends that I play with. I'm far too casual to keep up with most guilds, and most people who friend me I never end up playing with again...So I PuG everything. This was a strategy that allowed PuGs to succeed, as even with the "kill Valindra easy-mode"…
I 100% agree with the proposed Auction House search tool edit! I want to put in all my search criteria before looking something up...So sick of hitting "Equipment" and waiting for a slow load of stuff I'm not looking for so I can narrow my search.
This totally has me swapping out for another ability just so I can avoid attacks, and thus I lose a ton of DPS because I could benefit more from this AoE at-will as opposed to, say, Sure Strike.
Built + Geared + well-played GWF = Amazing DPS Built + Geared + well-played GF = Meh DPS Trying to argue differently is like trying argue against reality. Sorry, you're living in a fantasy.
I play a 16k gs IV Destoyer GWF and I consistently top DPS charts in almost every dungeon. I really only get beaten by CWs when add groups get so big that the GWF target cap holds us back and then CWs laugh their heads off while nuking everything onscreen. Not to start a flame war or anything, but I kind of feel like a…
A lot of people have mentioned tab and shift changes that could really help improve GF gameplay, but what I think is missing the most is survivability. For example, I (personally) don't really feel like a tank in either PvE or PvP. I feel like a drag. In PvP, it's all about slam-spamming. Even in my tankiest build, I don't…
Good luck. Those of us who play GWFs have been complaining about our weapons clipping since Beta, and we haven't even heard any acknowledgement from the Devs =/
From what I've been able to deduce, the misalignment bug appears to be based off of race and body shape. Humans, for example, suffer from every single weapon being misaligned; male and female, including Slim, Toned, and Heavy (from what I've seen.) Male Dwarves suffer from the misalignment issue, but I haven't seen a…
Are you kidding? "Small/Elite"? Umm, no. We're talking PUGs. The only dungeon that people want a GF for is FH for kiting adds on the final boss. People will take a GF if they can't readily get more CWs/HRs/GWFs...Or if they are new to this game and think that tank/heal/dps is best group formation. People will take GFs,…
Ha, I love this! I totally did a build very similar to this soon as Mod 2 came out. Been loving it. Mine is a bit more jack-of-all-trades as opposed to straight DPS for more survivability and a bit of PvP viability (just for those dailies.) It's really fun to top meters in VT and have people say things like, "Wow. Didn't…
So...I have a 16k gs GWF and a 17k gs GF. I've done most content with both. At this point, right now, I'm on the verge of salvaging all of my GFs gear for AD and deleting her. My GWF does everything my GF does, but with a ton more DPS. I have harder times getting into groups as a GF, because higher end groups would prefer…
Vorpal is too powerful to go with anything else. The crits are just too big! Also, the bigger the crits, the bigger your deep gash, which puts out a lot of DPS at the moment. I personally am running with 2/4 Illyanbruen (same stat types as AoW but higher numbers) and 2/4 VW, and I feel that I like it more than 4/4 AoW, but…
Man, I really need to run VT with you. With my GWF, I've been out-DPSd by a GF ONCE...Long ago, when I had a 12k gs and was Swordmaster. Since Mod 2 I've gone Iron Vanguard, got a higher gs (16k,) and now I top DPS charts 90% of the time; typically only being beaten by CWs when my aoe number cap holds me back and let's…
I forgot to mention, the "Slim" option also has alignment as bad as bulky. I just didn't screenshot it, cause it hid behind the scarf. Also, the clipping in general was the worst on the "Slim" option. Like, really bad.
I've been bringing this up constantly...I have two GWFs: one human male and one halfling male. I run into this graphical issue with my human male, but not my halfling. It's driving me insane. The angle of the weapons clipping with legs is one thing...But broken, floaty weapons is just offensive to me. I'd at least like…
Herod the Titan. Would have preferred to show him off with his old barbarian hammer...But they shrunk it, and it's just too small to wield and take seriously =/
I'm also going to throw my voice in here. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one suffering from this. Can't wait for Devs to come back from vacation, and hopefully take a crack at this...Maybe even fix some of our broken weapon skins or some clipping...Is that asking too much?
The GWF weapon clipping is maddening. Mostly because it's a simple fix, and there is no reason to NOT fix it, let alone not even ACKNOWLEDGE it. Some people might not find graphics to be a big deal. Sure I can run around and top DPS charts and the clipping doesn't hinder that...The point is that we didn't used to have…
I've been posting about this since Module 2 was still in Preview and I still haven't heard anything from a Dev. It's driving me nuts. And not only are our blades and hilts not lining up, but they shrunk the HAMSTER out of our hammers! They're like baby mallets now!
I definitely had to turn my graphics to the lowest settings to run it well enough to finish the final boss. Never had to before. Something is broken in MC.
