Can't Dye Weapons

We haven't forgotten, devs!!

This is either a bug or intentional. However, nobody developing the game has told us one way or the other.

Given that anyone used to be able to dye weapons, I'm guessing it's a bug, and that's why I posted here.

If it's intentional, I really don't understand why, but at least tell us it's intentional instead of leaving us in the dark.

We want to dye our weapons! I want my CW to be dark and scary! That pink orb ruins him.

Dark and scary while riding a pig!

(I also want to be able to dye weapons. Mismatching gives me a sad.)

I don't know that not being able to dye weapons is a bug. I'm pretty sure it's a design decision. However, it is a stupid design decision, and in my opinion, whoever made it should get slapped in the face.

There are quite a few art issues I have with this game, and I wish I had the art team's email, cause I don't understand why they do some things they do. Like, when they take cool weapon skins and then ruin them a couple patches later (e.g. anybody remember the GWF barbarian hammer and how it was huge and awesome? And then they shrunk it to a laughably small size!)

We can't dye our weapons, and that makes no sense. Why be able to dye every other visible piece of equipment and not a weapon? I don't even understand any sort of reasoning behind it.

Why can't we turn off enchantment effects?! Sometimes they are costume breaking, but the effects are basically a necessity.

Why can't we disable visuals of shirts and pants?! I would love my GWF to look like a barbarian, and being shirtless with armor would be so, SO sweet. But no...Art team doesn't like it.

Also, why so few dye color options? I mean, plenty of dye packs...But why not make all the individual colors available so players can customize further? Whose game does that hurt?

I mean, I come from Champions Online (another Cryptic game) and there was SOOO much character customization that I spent so many hours and dollars constantly customizing the looks of my characters, and I was happy to hand them my money to do so!

But the customization in this game leaves me wanting so much more...This is a D&D game, right? Isn't that part of what makes D&D amazing?

considering that we used to be able to bypass this and it was ninja patched so that we couldn't anymore, i'm going to go out on a limb and say this is not a bug and intentional. if you would like to make this suggestion, i suggest to either find a thread that is less than 30 days old and contribute your sentiments in a constructive manner or start a new thread. please be mindful of the rules, particularly rules 3.14 and 3.15.

    thanks.
