Lol. Seriously.. I know it's for my companion that's summoned. I stated up above in the OP that "The damage on my summoned companions from critical hits haven't changed at all" But the problem, for whatever reason, has been fixed. My companion's critical damage has been affected the way it's supposed to be. Edit: Yes, I…
When I looked at OP's message, I immediately thought, "Yup, sounds like the function for life steal is a form of square root" which it appears to be. In that case, there is never a hard cap still yet so technically as the tiers of gear increases over time, players may be able to achieve an extremely high % of life steal…
To be fair, everybody has to do a certain amount of PvE in order to properly experience PvP because without the basic combat experience and gear farming from PvE, a player won't have the necessary basic training needed to have a general fighting chance. Of course there technically isn't an option to not PvE as well.…
I'm really disappointed at how many players need ITC on their bar. Granted yes, it is a 5 second CC-immunity skill and dps invulnerability, but the fact is, players that use Master Infiltrator successfully w/o ITC will have a better transition and effectiveness offensively while holding the same defensive capabilities that…
It's nice to see a fellow local Hawaiian playing this game as well. I agree. The spam issue through gold/diamond bots needs to be tended with as it impedes a lot of vital messages. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.
Courage breaker IS an underrated skill. I use it a lot and many people that are its prey are "OMG, wtf did that TR just do to me? I have a 90% damage reduction and 90% movement debuff that lasts for 7 seconds?!" This skill is useful against ANY class if done right.
ITC is 5 seconds if it's maxed out. If you use the stealth version of that skill, 5 seconds of complete immunity to ANYTHING is very powerful. If you have CD reducing stats and stealth recovery abilities/feats, that skill is EXTREMELY power. I'm not going to say it's OP, but it's definitely one of the best utility…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpFxEBcVRY4 <--- This is a montage of a TR, but skip over to 0:50 where you'll see the TR soloing a GWF when they are both at 100% health and encounters. This GWF is obviously NOT sentinel build and not that skilled in fighting TRs. IMO, for a GWF to be skilled against fighting TRs as an…
1) Account Bound for Mounts/Companions/AD 2) Bolster PvP by adding in 2 more maps for Domination, adding in a 5v5 Capture The Flag variant, Team Deathmatch variant, and allowing Glory to be exchanged for AD. 2000 Glory = 2000 AD 3) Augment Gauntlgrym so that not only is it based off a rush and capture Domination game, but…
I have to disgree with you on that. There are many ways a TR can "touch" and may I dare say "win" against a CW. It requires the use of proper dodges, stealth, ITC, Impact Shot, and CoS. That's not even including the dailies: Lurker's Assault, Shocking Execution, Bloodbath, and Courage Breaker. All of which can either kill,…
How about you're not allowed to leave the spawn camp without a mount? Cuz everybody that's not a bot ends up using a mount in end game pvp to some extent especially after respawns to leave the camp. It's a simple idea, but it just might work. If anything, bot developers can make their bots ride mounts making them at least…
Technically speaking, if a 11k TR was fighting 1v1 against a CW, Without Stealth, ITC, Impact Shot, and CoS, TRs would be screwed. We're not even going to include dailies in this one. CW's already have repel, enfeeble, RoF, FR, 3 tele's, and long range at wills that could send TRs to the garbage bin if the CW is…
I believe they have a huge damage reduction buff along with unstoppable. When I hit the average GWF, I deal a 10k crit on them with lashing blade, but when I do the same when they have unstoppable on, I deal only around 3k crit. Yeah, NEVER waste your encounters on a GWF while they're unstoppable.
Actually surprisingly yes, that GWF did decently. It was like that person had a decent gear score of 9k. The player was actually quite good regardless of the gear score. s/he made several kills, but that person was also kind of squishy so s/he died a lot as well.
I've been running a TR for a few weeks now. I have NEVER used a perma-stealth build, but I've fought some TRs with those builds before. Sometimes I just get lucky and pop a smoke at the right place, ITC at the right time so I can have a good chance at fighting that rogue. Sometimes I also dodge at the right time to avoid…
Well.. Yesterday I had a GWF in my lvl 60 pvp PUG group with a GS of 6.8k. Yeah. Guess how that person did and guess what the outcome of such poor gear resulted in.
Lemonade Stand Guild. You guys are pros. I don't know if any of you fought "ThatAsianDude" before, but I have to give my regards to you. Everytime I see Lantis or anyone with the guild tag, I know I'm about to head into a rock hard fight. My guild, Children Of The Light, will eventually come to challenge you guys in PvP as…
In my opinion, TR is great for High-Quick Singular DPS/Flanking CC Maneuvers. That's how a rogue is supposed to be played, but not as a mixed breed of tank with a high and quick DPS. That job is for GWFs. The biggest downside to being a rogue is the squishiness. Other than that, if you believe a rogue is OP, you'll need to…
+1 My guildies and I have for the past week wanted PVP Team Deathmatch, PVP Team Capture The Flag, and PVP Team King Of The Hill plus more maps. 2 maps isn't enough to vary up the gameplay. At least make 2 more maps so it would be interesting.
