Just started playing my HR again for the past few weeks after running the GF for a while. I know crit severity affects thorned roots, and I believe combat advantage bonus damage does as well (I wouldn't quote me though).
@rjc9000 your document is currently saying that it has not been published whenever I click on the link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_nsKUaVsPnM105wnnxmcNvZ3ZrC5BN0s2hgNYjvEqKQ/pub Could you please fix it? Me and a buddy are getting into the nitty-gritty of the HR and your document is extremely helpful. Thanks again…
I like what I've read from you all. I have all kinds of opinions, but I'd like to just highlight one point. Considering the upcoming adjustments to the cleric, particularly with anointed army, I think it would be great if the protector capstone was finally fixed. It's apparent that the protector tree is designed to…
I think we've covered some good possibilities. Ignore the comments that flame classes. I might edit the initial post so as to highlight the constructive feedback given here.
@crowdsourced#3904 that is definitely not what this thread should focus on. This is simply a discussion about potential ways to smooth out the piercing damage in pvp without affecting PvE.
Black ice treads make your character slide around as if on the ice from the winter festival. This renders them utterly useless as it's completely counterproductive to the movement bonus.

@bittynation is it possible to just remove the comments that are off topic? Like moderate it? I suppose I could just make my original comment include all of the constructive things if all else fails.
Agreed. I don't even have a problem with plant growth. As a gf, my shield actually mitigates pb. I can stand in it, but I often choose not to. I stack movement like a madman.
@lirithiel and the point of this discussion was just to brainstorm possible methods of adjustment that would affect pvp but not PvE. At least that was the heuristic I was hoping for. I never said I believed anything should be nerfed. I was trying to provoke a discussion about ways to approach adjustments that would…
Wow guys, there are very few suggestions in here that actually keep it simple. Let me say this: IF there is a problem in PvP, I certainly don't believe it's the HR or TR. I do not agree with anything that involves reworking the class. For Christ's sake, they literally just reworked it. When I PVP with a good comp, we…
@bittynation I wouldn't go so far as to say that would "gimp" them. They would still have piercing damage and it would still hit hard in pvp. All things considered, the hr isn't the only class that can utilize piecing damage. Allowing tenacity to mitigate some amount of piecing damage (definitely nowhere close to all) just…
@oldbaldyone that's a pretty simple solution as well. I like it. The main thing I have issue with is when people offer suggestions that would essentially take entire class reworks in order to implement. I like the kinds of changes that lie on the reasonable end of the spectrum.
@pando83 lol mention anything about toning something down and people always say you're crying nerf. I play an hr and a gf, so I'm very familiar with both sides of the fence here. I think there's a simple solution to this that keeps everyone happy: add an additional stat from tenacity that gives "Piercing Damage Resistance"…
@wdj40 you don't need to do that I totally believe you. I'm just saying that the sc isn't necessary for lucky blades to proc all the time. Try taking the sc off and see if it's still proccing for you. As far as why that happens, that was just my speculation. At the end of the day, the result is the same regardless. With…
Thanks man, I don't usually post a whole bunch in these forums, it's not super great at giving me notifications. I don't think that you need a shadowclad in order for Lucky blades to have 100% of time. The game still makes players deflect heals so even when you're out of combat you deflect your own regeneration. I think…
I have yet to test everything in the depth that I'd like to, but hopefully I'll get around to it. From the tests I have gotten to do, I'm seeing Trapper outperform combat in PvE.
