I have fun doing HE's just because I enjoy the game. I do feel, however; they should not comprise the meat of a module. Unfortunately this seems to be the case with Underdark. Not terrible but kind of disappointing as far as module offerings go. Kind of feels like fluff added to beef up the content of the module imho.
I would love to see this. Maybe have an npc next to the arena where spectators can bet AD on the fight. People that lost the bet would have the AD they bet go into the guild coffer and winners would get their AD back plus a minor stronghold voucher.
I just really needed the gear in the chest to feed our stronghold mimic. But, if the other bosses would actually... you know... drop items on a more consistent basis, then that would have helped in this case.
Thank you for these additions. While small, positive additions are always welcome. The problem is these sort of changes should be getting fired out every week or two. Making players wait a month for such small changes leads to a stale gaming environment. A stale environment breeds boredom. Boredom and lack of…
Ugh. More HE's. They're going to have to say something regarding new/old and reworked dungeons sooner rather than later or their hype-train is going to lose steam extremely fast.
I'm pretty sure the priority of work goes as follows; Upcoming Content > Bug Fixes > Renewing Old Dungeons and content. It's well known they are hugely under-staffed. The developers they do have are not experts on the game engine and are under huge time constraints. Mod 6 was just rehashed maps and a new class which has…
1. Yes the dragons can do insane damage when the empowerers are up. Melee especially needs to clear out for a second and get rid of those empowerers or just wait for them to be cleared before re-engaging if your gear or character level is a tad low. 2. This is simply not true. Yes Divine Protector is nice to have but a GF…
I kind of wish someone that is on the inside and knows what the long-term plans are for this game would take one for the team and leak what the true goal of all this nerfing/gating is. I just want to know, are the people making the decisions truly trying to just put greed first and make everything funnel to the zen market…
They really just need to bring more drops to the table. That is what get's people excited about playing rpg types of games. People love to randomly be killing stuff and see something somewhat valuable or unique drop. Yes yes i know, botting botting botting. You can't stop it. I believe they have gone way overboard with the…
I've done this also. If you really wanna have a laugh, have the paladin use the Yeti companion as an active. The Paladin will grow so huge you will only be able to see his legs.
haha. I find it funny sometimes when I look at the damage numbers when I die. Last one i remember was a couple days ago taking ~1.5 million damage from Divine Protector when one of my teammates took a direct hit from Blackdagger's fire bomb. That was even without using binding oath. Just the straight damage. Also,…
The problem I see is people don't know how to play with a Paladin tanking their group yet. A Paladin needs more setup to engage mobs as they do not have a ranged taunt. What i find annoying in PUGS is some TR throwing knives at the mobs or a CW tossing Conduit of Ice on mobs before i am ready to engage. OP's need to get in…
The biggest problem I have as a GF in dungeons is the mob A.I.. I like to engage with lunging strike for the agro cone and 50% DR. The mobs then immediately attack me then move to flank. This causes me to move in a semi-circle around the side and wait for a tr smokebomb or CW steal time to give me a chance to use enforced…
A GWF can definitely out-damage a CW. The problem is that an equally geared CW will put out AOE damage than a GWF. It takes a lot of gear/enchants and a certain setup for a GWF to do more AOE damage than a CW. I see that as a problem. Plus, I totally agree that GWF AOE damage should extend to more than 5 monsters. 10…
I agree. Sad thing is all the top geared players in my guild don't even run dungeons anymore since there is no incentive. Not sure how this all affects people new to lvl 60.
I'll weigh in on this again. I have all 5 classes very well geared(TR somewhat well geared but so many are available i just don't ever use it). I've come to believe it is a l2p issue. Since this post is coming from a CW I'll focus on that. The most troublesome build for a CW facing a rogue is executioner(permastealth is…
Taking 2 GWF's in CN is so awesome. It really cuts down on time. When i'm on CW it's so awesome to throw up one singularity and then everything is dead with the GWF's going nuts on the grouped up enemies. Usually without GWF's i need to throw up a minimum of two and sometimes many more sings on a group of mobs; But with 2…
I just don't understand why they can't jut make adjustments for PvP. I want the rogue in my party to destroy stuff! They changed the CC of Wiz's in PvP only so the mechanic i there. I swear these developers just don't think.
Here's my pro-tip for a CW facing a TR. Use Icy Rays. Mark the rogue with the first cat and then u can follow them around for a good 4 to 5 seconds. Then you can see their play-style. Some TRs will try to run around the back or side of you to get that lashing in. Once they are out of stealth they will usually use ItC. You…
Obligatory "...rogues should have damage nerfed in PvP since CW's got control nerfed in PvP" comment. Just don't take PvP too seriously. It's obviously not intended for competitive play since there are no ladders. It's just for giggles. All in all my only suggestion is to not expect to win unless you are in a Pre-made…
