I don't even have a reddit account and in all honesty, that article is the only thing I've ever even read on reddit. But people do need to see it, cause this game's a straight up scam.
Read into this. It's part of their big ol' cash grab scheme. http://www.reddit.com/r/Neverwinter/comments/1dry0g/neverwinters_f2p_model_what_you_need_to_know/
If this really happened, it's called a stealth nerf and probably won't ever get any explanation because the devs of this game are lazy as hell and don't communicate with people at all on anything. Look at their track record.
This is actually really annoying when I'm riding by the potions and try my best to not pick it up but it happens anyway. The invisible "hitbox" if you will on those potions surrounds the whole area of them and I hate accidentally picking one up when I know one of my teammates could use it, especially when I'm at full…
Most, if not all of the cash shop rants are about mounts, bags, and respec fees. This is something extremely cleverly hidden from 90% of the game and only truly revealed when you hit endgame. Or when you read into this game more and find out things like this…
Not to mention the fact that the preservation wards can still fail. I used two of them on one fusion attempt and both of them failed. Yes, I realize this isn't a huge deal because it returns the 4 pieces to you but that right there should numb the arguments of anyone coming in here with "durr hurr you can pray for seven…
I have been trying to tell you this whole time, it's not something that they're going to fix and it's not an exploit. When you throw free money into a crowd of people, those people are going to scramble for it and you get to watch them and laugh at how HAMSTER they look in doing so. That is what PWE is doing here, laughing…
I genuinely feel bad for those who think that the roll system isn't working as intended. It is set up this way so that PWE can make money off people converting Zen into AD. That is the reason why anyone can roll need on anything; it isn't because this is a "beta" and that it's broken. They did it because they know they…
Asking the company to close its main cash cow? PWE is a super dirty company, as they've proven and unfortunately this won't go away. But yeah, game is doomed for real due to this.
Maybe I should have been more clear in that I don't mean people who are new to MMOs. I mean people who are new to Neverwinter. Most MMOs have need/greed systems and before anyone flames me, I know what Guild Wars 2 is and I've played it.
I love the answers in this thread. "If you want to play the game and have fun, join a guild or be punished for not joining one!" That sounds like a fun game with an awesome community. Welcome to Neverwinter! The point the OP is trying to make is that new players are going to get a horrible impression of this system the…
Unfortunately the AFK problem is so f**cking bad that often there won't even be 4 other players at the keyboard to vote. People actually advertise in chat, looking for full parties to go into PvP and AFK together for quick glory.
holy balls that looks awesome. why can't we do this in the first place? sounds like more money going into their pockets and errrrybody knows they like that.
Lol putting more diamonds into the system, HAMSTER the economy again so more people are tempted to buy Zen to convert it into AD. I see what you did there, PWE.
This has been my argument in many threads. If the game is charging you for anything it should not be called an open beta, especially when the developers aren't even communicating with us in any way, but of course all of our northern heroes want to tell me I'm wrong and that so many other games do this. I haven't seen one…
