See, I was under the impression that if the upgrade failed, you loose the artifact, but the few posts up brought it othwerise to my attention. I see now why it's not worth wasting the C-Ward. That clears up a lot.
Hey, thanks, all. I really appreciate the input. It would seem, though, that a 10% success rate of refinement isn't too good and, thus, would warrant the use of a C-Ward, but, I guess, being as expensive as it is, it's better to just forgo the success than pay the price. I get it. Thanks very much again.
Say, I'm pretty new, so could you explain a few things for me, please. a) Not opening until Double RP drop or Double RP value events: what does this mean? and is this the same thing as what you said about not opening boxes unless there's double refinement stone drop/double RP? b) What do you mean by 3x16h, 3x8H and x2/3?…
What's tough here, at the moment at least, is determining just how much a given stat helps. For instance, I'm level 5 DC now (woo-hoo!) and I have this armor that offers 7 recovery but subtracts 21 hit points. Now, the question is how do I know just how much 7 recovery helps and if that's worth loosing the HP (really, the…
Gotcha, nathan. I did buy an off-hand (I'm an DC) for, like, 18 copper. I figured it would be worth a try to see if I can hold it. Other than that, I got a piece of jewelry for 6 copper. And I think I got a vest or something really cheap. It's not much of a boost, but I'm experimenting too. Otherwise, thanks much!
Yeah, I'm playing as a human. And with that said, I'm wondering (since this toon is only level 4) if I should just re-roll a new one with either equal Str/Chr or higher Str, since higher Str seems to be the better suggestions as of late. What would you do?
I just ran a new toon through the bridge...I had to kill the guardian next to it and then I could get to the chest, so I have to amend what I said earlier about not killing the guarding first; however, after I killed him with my first toon and then proceeded on, I couldn't get into the chest area. Weird. Anyway...
Putz, Your post rocks. It explained a whole lot and made several things clear to me. Thanks very much. As I've posted elsewhere, I'm thinking the best strategy is to simply negotiate with the enemy: coffee, donuts...I mean, that's got to mean something, doesn't it?! Thanks again!
Ah, but you do have to jump into the structure to access the chest before, I believe, you kill the enemy next to it (who's slightly harder to kill then the others). Otherwise, you can't jump into the structure. Weird, eh!
