I pretty much switch between my Swift Golden Lion and my Alpha Compy (the compies are known affectionately as "The Babies"), both of which are up to legendary. On "no pressure" questing, I'll run my Snowy Faun just for light healing and because she's really cute.:) I want the Deepcrow Hatchling, but right now I can't…
This is where I am a bit confused: are they a drop from the ME itself or are they randomly given in one of the rewards from Obaya after completing an ME?
THIS! This this this thisthisthis! I see players complain about people not being the correct Lvl for dungeons all the time (hell, I've even done it from time to time!). If a dungeon's item Lvl requirement is 13k, then players that are 13k should be able to get through it. It's makes no sense to expect or demand a player be…
Well, after opening more than 400 bags and 56 pinatas...nothing. My SW got hers with just over 300 bags on her 39th pinata, and my HR got zip. I can't even share the bristles or gnarled broomstick, for it's character bound, not even account bound. My SW got the sash BEFORE the patch, and my HR, nadda. I'm beyond frustrated.
One of my toons opened over 300 bags and got the sash on the 39th pinata. My other character has opened nearly 350 bags and only got 30 pinatas, and not one sash and this is after the patch. I wouldn't be so discouraged if I didn't already have all the bristles, the broom handle, the astral diamonds AND the tokens. I have…
Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I got the sash today!! It took 350 bags, which gave me about 45 pinatas and I got it on the 39th one. BTW, if you want a private place to open the pinatas, go into the tower of appearance change and go up the stairs into the upper room. It has pumpkins in there, too!:D
Spoken like someone who already has the sash! LOL I'm kidding.:) You make a good point, there are 13 days left and I have no problem grinding for another 13 days, it's just the random within a random aspect that makes me nervous. I spent real money getting the tokens so I would be sure to have most of the tokens (I grinded…
It's just statistics. It's comparable to opening a lockbox trying to get a legendary mount. I've been fortunate enough to get one legendary from one lockbox, and I've been playing for two years and have opened more lockboxes than I can count. We only have two weeks to get the sash, and if the drop rate works the same as…
A fashion item? Okay, I get it now. It's been happening to me too, and I couldn't figure out what the deal was for my inventory was most certainly not full! My fashion one is, however, so this now makes sense.
Maybe the elusive witch's sash is in that one illusionist's bag! LOL EDITED to add: Yesterday I was having really good drops in Sharandar! In the Realm of Malabog I got 14 drops in about 40 minutes. The more enemies I rounded up, the better the drop.
I'm probably one of the easiest going players around: I don't mind the grinding for events, I don't mind the AD for the broom, and I even spend real money - a LOT of money- on the game. However, the thought of the witch's sash being nearly impossible to get after I've already got the other components really irritates me! I…
I agree. It would be one thing to maybe make it a component you get from a quest, or to have to build up tokens for but a random drop than just might never drop? Nope. I paid real money to get some of my tokens, and I've been grinding the rest. I don't mind the grind if I know in the end the results will be tangible.
Well said! You know we are all thinking it! I said it before and I will say it again: if those PvP complaints are truly the reason behind these changes, then that is the lamest excuse for nerfing the TR I've ever heard.
Therein stems the problem. While it is true that some are not ready for higher content, how are they to know unless they run the content in the first place? One can watch as many tutorials and how to's as they possibly can to prepare themselves, but all those pale in comparison to doing the real thing. The bottom line is…
Of course, if they go ahead with the nerfs on TR then perhaps DO will become secondary DPS and TR will be reduced to barely-there support. Of course, the DO damage would still be questionable, but if it's better than the new TR that would be saying a lot, and not in a good way for TRs. :s We'll see... edited for spelling…
After reading more of the comments and thinking about it, I have a question for the devs: Does Perfect World/Cryptic want to kill the game? This is not a sarcastic question, but a serious one. These TR changes are extreme (not to mention the DO DC changes which we won't get into) and couple this with the Random Queues, the…
THIS! So some people bitched and complained about TR so we are getting these massively nerfy changes? My TR has just passed 11k and I've worked very hard to get her there by practical trial and error, pouring over viable builds, and tweaking her until she's finally getting to where she's working well. NOW I'm going to have…
I admit, I'm probably the wrong person to ask because I just love the look of them! I currently have four of them: the Celestial Stag, Swift Golden Lion, Arcane Whirlwind, and Swarm. The first three I bought on the AH, but the Swarm I was fortunate enough to get from the Undying lockbox. I would like to have at least one…
I completely agree! Believe me, we tried. LOL He tanked the best he could that boss and drakes, but I was the only DPS left almost immediately after entering the area. There was just no way the two of us could complete it. However, if we find we are in this situation again, at least we can discuss some tactics with the…
It makes sense on paper, but in application it sucks. And on a side note, if SoT really is a 7500k dungeon, our team should have had no problem with it, but it was just a mess. I don't blame anyone, it's just the way it was.
The higher carrying of the other players makes sense, and I had not thought of that. I don't think they had either, because they were pretty insistent that they could do it. My husband did what you suggested, which is why only the two of us were able to stay in each time as long as we did. Alas, we couldn't do it in the…
