I had the same issue. I switched the position of the primary/secondary artifacts, and then back, and closed and reopened the character screen. I was then able to upgrade...
I am more just trying to get a baseline so I can work on the campaigns while I wait. I was extremely clueless when I first came back. Thanks again for all the guidance guys!
Being that's Wizard's themselves aren't following the rules anymore, just having published the 5th edition of DnD which is very different than 4E, I don't think Cryptic has anything to worry about...
Sign up for a month of IGN Premium, and you will get a code for a Green Healer Companion called the Faithful Initiate. She is a Tiefling (and am pretty sure she is the only Tiefling Companion). Subscribtion costs $6.99. Just make sure you cancel immediately, I didn't and ended up getting billed for an extra month...
I forget, but you might be able to see the code if you purchase it as a gift. If not, you will need to create a second steam account and view it there. Not sure if the code only works once per account though...
Looking forward to seeing your thoughts as well. I might do one myself at some point focusing on my Recovery build, but it's still a ways off. I didn't test on preview so I wouldn't feel right making a guide without getting to 60 and playing it for a week or two first.
Pro Tip You can always buy an additional Greycloak's Insignia. I used to do it all the time. It doesn't count as unique in the weapon, so I would always carry a spare the first 20-25 levels or so I could slot it into a better weapon. With the reduced slotting costs, this is now a non issue though...
I'd like to see what Rift did, and make smaller 2 man versions of the Dungeons. They wouldn't be as rewarding (maybe just granting Marks and blues), it would be nice to have an option of running a dungeon with fewer players...
Thanks for the guide. I know there are quite a few discussions right now as to whether the new system is more or less cost effective, but I will say the new system is quite a bit more complicated than the previous one...
As for TR and CW against a HR (again at highly levels, a HR with the pack under level 20 is going to rip everything up), if a TR gets to you, you're dead. My suggestion is to make sure he doesn't. Be very careful about Dazing Strike and Smoke Bomb. CW can strongly out damage you in single target ranged capacity, my…
Try playing at say 30+. Earlier levels tend to be a cake walk if you have AOE and the Rangers have plenty of it. The class is very well balanced at higher levels (although their single target damage tends to be on the low side), with one exception: Daily powers that activate at a % of you Action Points. It works, it's very…
New Paragon path looks (I say looks because I haven't tried it yet) like it has more maneuverability, but less overall damage. That might be why your damage is lower.
I haven't played through it yet but...They are Thayans. I could understand if a quest called you to steal from orphans...but Thayans? I'm also assuming that the reasons for theft are to deprive the Thayans of some asset they intend to either wage war or enforce their will, i.e. you aren't breaking into their houses and…
Everything but the bag should be unlockable on your other Rangers, and the Companion and title for all of your characters. Not sure if this has been fixed yet though.
