  • Through testing, these are the only powers I've found that build stacks on yourself: Repel -Ads 3 stacks if there are 3 targets affected Entangling Force -Adds 3 stacks if there are 3 targets affected Steal Time -Adds 1 stack per cast no matter what (even if no targets are affected) Shield -Adds 3 stacks if there are 3…
  • I went with High Vizier because of the defense bonus. With the changes to aggro, I'm going to be a much bigger target now, and that set should help out a lot.
  • Looking at the patch notes, it currently does the opposite of what it says (giving defense to the mobs instead of taking it). Supposed to be fixed in the Balance Patch:
  • The post you quoted is almost a month old. The wiki should be able to answer a lot of your questions now, and if it doesn't, message me so that I know what information to go looking for next. http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Control_Wizard#Epic_Armor_Sets
  • The wiki is a work in progress, based on whatever information I can find. I acquired the Archmage set yesterday, did some testing with it, and updated the list with what I found. If someone could do that with the High Vizier and Shadow Weaver sets, it would be appreciated.…
  • No worries, I only added it about 12hrs ago.
  • A T1 set will get you about half-way there. Find purples for the rest of your slots, add some enchantments, and you shouldn't have a problem.

  • Singularity > Steal Time (time it so it activates when the targets drop) > Icy Terrain (immediately after) > Conduit of Ice > Entangling Force (Spell Mastery) > Repeat :) With high enough recovery and enough adds in boss fights, you can do this forever.

  • A user on reddit used his 4-piece archmage set to test which skills were considered "control powers," and I integrated his list into the wiki. Since we don't know if each spell is considered the same way no matter if it's armor, feats, or another skill that wants to know if something is a "control power," I can't consider…
  • Both shield and Entangling Force increase AP gain by how many targets are affected. I've used EF in Castle Never on some large groups and gotten full AP with just that. By the time you have about 12+ targets affected, you should be able to have a full bar with just shield and EF. I've also found it useful to use Steal Time…
  • Doesn't seem like the changes are very drastic; just lowers damage output in general.
