I was really excited to come back to Neverwinter, I intended to make it my main game, but the lack of native controller support for a game that already has half of that work done due to console ports makes Neverwinter a no-go for me. I'd could easily play the game on my wireless mouse and keyboard, but the combat feels…
@aimeesellers Thanks for the welcome! I booted up the game last night, but I was very surprised to find that NWO on the PC still does not have controller support and I don't really enjoy playing this game on mouse and keyboard (for combat). I tried a few different key mapping programs, but it is no where near the…
Of course I'm talking about support in the additive sense. If I wanted to 100% support them with my money, I'd just write them a check. Complaining about prices is effective, even when it isn't something I need, it's called me not buying it. I'm voting with my wallet. They'll get the picture or they won't.
The problem for me is that the things in the Zen store simply cost too much, especially when they are only good for that one character (bags). I just can't justify it, and I really am enjoying this game, and would love to support it besides the founder's pack, but the cost versus benefit just drives me off from buying any…
Loving the game. Sure issues exist, but they are being addressed, just not as quickly as some would like. I literally laughed out loud several times listening to the phylactery dialogue as I was trying to find a resting place for the Liche in Neverdeath.
It's because they are going off of many elements of 4th edition D&D when they made the game, so they decided (for some strange reason) to make separate builds of a class into separate classes altogether, thus the different fighters etc. I think it's kind of lame, I feel shoe-horned as a control wizard. Control is all I'll…
I think this game makes you actually take stock of your environment and your situation much more than others do, and if you don't, I could see why some might say the game is hard, but really I think it's a solid medium difficulty at most.
Hmm, that's strange. You'll just have to let it chug along then. That's what I ended up having to do for my laptop, took a while, but got there eventually.
On top of that, the founder item's are accessible to all character's right? So, for instance, if I decided I made my character wrong, I could remake him and still get my founder's stuff? I know some of the stuff says it is one per character, but some don't say anything on the matter.
I'm hoping NW will give me a new fresh world to explore. I mean, I know a lot about the Realms, but it will be great to play something deep and refreshing. On a side note, I picked up WoW again, bought MoP, played it for 3 days and was like "meh". I finally figured out I wasn't really tired of the lore of the game, so much…
I don't agree with the decision to allow such names, but I can respect it. I simply won't play with people with such names unless they are recommended from friends and guild mates. I'll be trying to find a large RP guild when I get in game, so I probably won't have to deal with it much anyway. I respect their right to…
I can come up with even more examples to show you that PvP is not inherently a part of D&D. Sure, you can take a computer tower and fill it with dirt for flowers, but that's not the designed purpose. That being said, I believe PvP should be in the game, but it should take a backseat and not adversely affect PvE.
