Flaming bird comes from the Nightmare lock boxes which drop from lvl 10 quite regular but need a key too unlock them, these are 100 zen from the zen store only way to get the keys.

What are the abilities of the flaming bird? Could you post the screenshot?

How many lockboxes did you have to open to get the bars for mount, and how far into opening the boxes did you get the bird?
Wicked!!! How does the flaming bird perform in the fights?
Thanks Ederlin for the screenshots!

from personal use on the bird it's pretty kick ***. more powerful then the founder panther companion. or at least imo it is. i've also put more work into it then the panther so that could be part of it. downside its only got offensive slots would like one of them to be defensive. but ohwell. its what im sticking to for now.
For anyone considering getting the 2500 bar mount Twilight Nightmare here is a preview.
Hey, I didn't know princess Luna was in this game xD
Pinkamena Diane Pie - Great Warrior Fighter
One, two, Pinkie's coming for you, three, four, you better lock your door, five, six, grab your crucifix, seven, eight, gonna stay up late, nine, ten, never party again.
How many boxes/keys did it take to rack up the 2500 bars?

Trade Bars are a currency that is only available by opening up lockboxes. About 10 Trade Bars are in every lockbox. So 2500 Trade Bars would require about 250 Lockboxes. So it would require over $250 unless you purchase Zen through their sale and purchase Keys through it Key sale. Star Trek Online has about 20 Lobi (their version of Trade Bars) through a limited time event. So it is possible to get Trade Bars through other methods, but you won't be getting anything cool through any other method. If you want to get the Twilight Nightmare, then it requires opening Lockboxes, getting it through the Auction House, or have a really generous friend.

God ****, that takes the HAMSTER. I honestly thought you would be able to get the bars through in game means during the end game. That is a ridiculous about of key's to have to buy...

I don't see why anyone would spend $250 just for one single mount. I had a hard enough time justifying the Hero's pack.

There is the direct link in case those pictures are too hard to read.
Based on CO/STO, more than likely yes.
The question is what the average drop is.
Thanks Ederlin for the screenshots!

Because some people have way too much money.
