I fear that Cryptic is going to delay the Archer Ranger until after TESO beta starts and I will probably move on to that. I really have no interest in playing a non-archer character. I wonder if there is some problem in getting the archery targeting down. It just seems odd that there will be no archers at launch.
It is almost certain that an Archer class will not make launch and it is heavily rumored that the Ranger that is currently being worked on is a Duel-Weilder and not an Archer. Lord knows when any Archer class will get released. I always play an Archer in all rpgs so this is crucial to me and is preventing me from buying…
Rumor is though that the Ranger that is supposedly in the works is a Duel-Wield Ranger and not an Archer. It seems that they are having trouble with Archer targetting or something but the Wizard is essentially the same with their ranged attacks so I really am puzzled.
The main thing keeping me from buying any Founders Packs at the moment is that I don't like paying money for the hope of things to come and a lack of solid info on the value of the items. Just how valuable are 100,000 Astral Diamonds? I have no idea. Will there ever be an Archer Ranger available and if so when? That is…
Yeah I think the Starter Pack is actually a better deal but then I don't really care for thr Armored Horse or Dire Wolf. The Guardian Pack really needs the +1 AC Amulet and Bag expansion.
I would love a first-person perspective as an option because outside of combat I prefer that view, especially when in closed in locations. In combat, especially with NWO and the fast pace of combat, I would always use third-person perspective in order to keep my bearings.
I hope there is some sort of death penalty. Newer games have been watering this down to the point that nobody cares if they die so being careless or outright stupid is not discouraged at all. As long as it stings enough to make player's consider their actions and not allow them to always blindly rush into any situation…
I'll be very disappointed if the Ranger isn't in at launch since that is the only class that I really want to play. I guess I could start a Warrior Archer but it just isn't the same. I want to hit the ground running with my preferred class as soon as release arrives. If need be I would even pay a small fee to start a…
I never play a true Rogue; always a Ranger; but i could see playing one in NWO. The animations look ok with me but I do agree that the Dodge is a bit over the top. I am sure they will continue to refine most parts of the game over the coming months so it is hard to gauge what will be in at release.
Never played a Bard in any game and the last time I played PnP DnD many years ago there weren't any Bards so I am very ignorant about them. Closest thing to a Bard I have any association with is the Skald from **** and they were a sweet class so I assume a Bard in NWO would be somewhat similar. The more the merrier I say…
I think the only hype for this game is that which is created in some individual's minds because it is a DnD online game. I certainly don't think PW or Cryptic have hyped it much at all. I actually expected more hype. Like all upcoming mmos that I have an interest in I am getting hyped as we approach release. I just hope…
Been playing GW2 the last few days just to tide me over until NWO. GW2 is a well-done game but it is definitely just filler. I really hate the mixture of technology with fantasy and the events seem a bit overdone. But overall a very solid game. Looking forward to trying Wizardry Online but again it will simply be filler.
I am moderately disappointed since I have been counting down the weeks for awhile now but if the delay means a more stable game, pvp, and Rangers then I am just fine with waiting a few more months.
I hope pets are eventually included since my favorite class is a Ranger with a Wolf. Maybe a Beastmaster will be one of the premium classes we can buy in the store or they might be added at some point as the classes are expanded after launch. I guess I can live without a pet but I will be very disappointed if the basic…
I personally prefer more realistic looking armor. When the large spikes, chainmail bikinis, and huge shoulders make an appearence I start to get uncomfortable.
I prefer a sneaky ranged rogue but not so much the actual thieving side of the class. That is why I almost always go with a Ranger type of character in all mmos.
I agree and don't really want to confront a god. I do think there will be an Underdark expansion at some point. Maybe run up against some demons or maidens of Lloth but not the big girl herself. Somebody needs to get down there a set things a right!
I agree completely. There is nothing worse than having a great piece of armor with awesome stats that you feel forced to wear but makes you look like some clown. Of course it would be great if there were so many good looking pieces with good stats that were easily attained that we won't need to worry but there is just no…
I am getting that feeling of hunger for more info about NWO. The interviews never seem to satisfy that hunger and just serve stimulate my appetite. I can't wait for release. I am glad that Pokket ditched the neon colored hair. She is a very attractive girl with naturally beautiful hair.
I am glad to see that the game is getting some real good buzz and acclaim. I am really starting to get anxious to play it. NWO and later TESO should keep me happily entertained for several years.
Some nice little snippets of info there. Makes me giddy thinking about Rangers with a wolf pet and using campfires for healing. I desperately hope that Rangers are in at release.
I guess they feel since Pax East was fairly recently and we got a look at some gameplay they could let up a bit on communication. Hopefully they are toiling away quietly in preparation for beta. I agree that we will most likely get a lot of info during E3. I guess they don't want to spoil anything before that event.
