More levels, mate. Life after 70's. They can handle level matchmaking and that's all, right? So they can make this: you log to PvP world and in your instance you'd be able to meet just people at about your level, no matter how much you invested in your char. But only killing other people would make you advance up in…
I noticed only one thing matchmaker is doing: filtering players by level. If you are lvl70, you will never see lvl50 player in PvP. It's not that bad if you are under lvl70. You will win some and lose some. So, it works. Ofc, you will sealclub bots most of the time. Seems like Internet population likes to sealclub things,…
Good idea for matchmaking, mate. +1 But... I just started playing PvP, but I already witnessed Dominations with 3 players on one side and just one on the other. Who's idea is that's fair and funny? So... tell me about matchmaking... is there ANY?
Sounds awesome, mate. Or maybe even a whole campaign where each player would have to pick a side on start. Side A would fight for a goal A and side B would fight against it. And once in awhile you'd have to pass (or repel) a real player instead of easy NPCs. Matchmaking could be done via instancing, ofc.
Ah, I wasn't clear, mate. Heavily armed TR would be as slow as any other heavily armed class. My model offers fair battles, between equally armed players, no matter of class. Classes MUST remain equal, or it really would be silly, I agree. Just for records. I will not push my idea further more in your fair thread. *wink*
Dudes, let's face it... NW can't go on without gear weight. More equipped char must be slower and/or getting tired faster. It's natural. Fighting with heavier gear should cost speed and/or stamina. That's all matchmaking we need, imho. That way even PvP world would be possible.
Yupp, mate. In Warthunder matchmaking was all about the gear. Many were QQ-ing about 1-2 aces devastating all enemy team in a minute. No fun and no credits for others, not to mention slaughtered enemy. So they tested experimental matchmaker for 2 weeks: every player would receive a battle rating according to his experience…
Although I support the idea, I don't think average sealclubber will like it. And him exactly is the main source of income for average game producer. They usually say their hard work to get better should not be punished by giving them harder matches. Average player trains (and invests) simply to club more seals. So,…
What domination (as it is now) needs is beer. So we can sit down and have a pint with an enemy. It's much more rewarding (as it is now) than actually fighting in there. Whole Domination (as it is now) could be replaced by a Gimme-Astrals button. So we could press that button and get our astrals. Sorry for being sarcastic,…
One must prepare in order to place a good crit. Look at boxing or karate matches and you'll see it. That's why no one has issues with HWF's Reaping Strike - for example. It's a strong blow, but obvious and takes time to do it. That's how preparing for a critical should work. You can evade it simply - by moving a bit. More…
All bad MMO-s suffer from three common problems: - one char can't be fun in both PvE and PvP. Every manufacturer finds mandatory to balance our chars (class, gear, boons...) for this or that, instead balancing The Game. It's up to our weakness to allow it, or even ask for it. It's us who ask for cutting leafs and then…
Just to add that some players might start panicking after placing a nice Lashing Blade from Stealth - as your first blow on them. In most cases you are probably not hurt at that moment, so all the healing might be wasted. Not to mention that cutting people in half is always funny.
