I do agree that those willing to stay in the party should be given the option to remain in the instance (or at least be automatically re-queued or sth), just as those who want to leave can always just leave and take the penalty (maybe argue for a shorter penalty after a failed vote to abandon instance?) ...but your…
Tbh, I feel Cryptic should focus far more on promoting the CURRENT game to new players and really work on identifying a clear target group. The game is just too old by now and has changed too much for the forums to give any sense of a unitary player base. People who started at different MODs (or pre MOD1) miss different…
Maybe try streaming the game and give loot to viewers (who play the game and maybe can answer certain lore questions or sth?). Or just lurk in the channels of other streamers with more viewers and give stuff to people in their channel or give stuff to other streamers to hand out. If you happen to be in the habit of…
Whereas I'm one of those players who prefers doing solo weekly quests for AD and now the challenge campaigns (except the ones that require major heroics) and MEs and prob my fav thing to do is Dread ring and Sharandar dailies. All those things I find quite relaxing and rewarding (RP and AD) for the time I have to invest in…
My experience is the opposite. What with the new gear and them tweaking the scaling all old maps are pretty much back to smash smash button time :/ And I solo play 97% of the time. Then again, apparently Wizards are OP a f. Meeh
Essence drops are an issue. Can someone confirm that there is a chance to obtain them when running MEs solo with one rune? Or does this actually require a party composition?
When I'm doing something new, like playing the story line of a new Mod for the first time or going to a dungeon that I haven't done before then I always have the sound on just for that extra immersion and in case there are any verbal cues. But when I do the 'usual' then I tend to listen to podcasts nowadays. Sometimes…
Soooo.... leaving aside that old dungeons have no real relevant rewards.... assuming I still, for what ever reason, want to or have to play downscaled content... I'm SUPPOSED to gear aiming for lvl 70 caps and not for lvl 80 caps?!? It feels like downscaled content is the true end-game content It's not even that I don't…
Well, more realistic in that they are not, at least not to my mind, trying to sell it to average players n the first place (see post above my previous post) because it's not designed for average casuals. I'd argue 13k for CR was more misleading when it came out
I only run with rage runes (when I do run with runes) and they haven't really disappointed so far. The little guy under the stairs has been more of a disappointment tbh :D, but at least I usually get AD from him
Cookie-cutters, greatly despised and also greatly sought after :D ... even after the system was simplified to make it more difficult to make accidental bad choices
I wholeheartedly agree with Foss that group content, i.e. 5-man dungeons should never be soloed and should never take just 10-15 minutes to complete. 30 min is a sweet spot, but personally I'm fine with 40-50 min runs like when Dungeon Delves was still a thing .. (speaking of which... maybe reintroduce the hourly system).…
I get this in MEs when the Yeti guy is one of the minibosses - easiest kill (regardless of the number of runes) because half the time he seems to have no idea where I'm moving and seldom even targets me with attacks when I'm not (also only person in he instance using an augment). There must be something off with his maths
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy she is to control. As a wizard anyway.... She killed me the first 2 times and then I switched to Entangle and took a fraction of the damage I did before. If you have no control powers then I'd go over any companions, artifacts, special pocket items that might have a…
I agree that joining dates and participation on the forums doesn't necessarily show anything. If I remember correctly then the first NWO forums weren't even supported by Arc.
It's cheap enough to get them to R10 tbh. And after that you no longer require the double enchantments for upgrades. I'd reconsider the number of superiors needed after that tho
