And it also ignores any damage reduction on the targets, dealing full damage (as if ArPen ignored all of the opponent's defense for one single hit). It's a pretty good power if used well.
Hum, I also never noticed it's icon on the enemies, but it is perhaps like the Prestidigitaion feat, where it works on yourself without showing it's icon, like it does appear on your allies. Just a graphic omission.
Hum, then check this topic out: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?436861-CW-feat-Tempest-Magic-Tiefling-racial Because of this statement, I've been using Tempest Magic as a Tiefling.
7/10 Very pleasant, has a vintage touch to it. But not really my style =/ Above and Beyond - Alchemy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBeMQ2V3yuk I happen to like these sort of sad/fun at the same time songs xD Trance music style.
Repel along with Shield are most useful for pushing groups of mobs into cliffs, so it has uses on both environments. Also, Chilling Presence is one of our best Class Features because it raises damage up to 18% with all our magic, the only requirement is to generate chill stacks, which a handful of our spells are capable…
Still, I think it is the best option between itself, Brisk Transport and Controlled Momentum. The latter two doesn't offer as significant boosts. Brisk Transport has too little utility, only useful if you are running away to a potion, and with Severe Reaction recharging your stamina pretty quickly, you'd always want to…
Quite awesome build! I'm really thinking on respeccing into Oppressor. I was playing PvP and PvE just like one, frost magic focused, why not make it better? Just one thing I'm rather curious: Why you guys never considered the Cold Infusion feat?? I think that 5% less damage on everything you cause chill is way more…
Perhaps I was the only one then? I took the relic to a trader in Sharandar next to the Seal Vendor. I exchanged it for sack which gave you 10 Crescents and 10 Sparks. That's all it does. I wasn't stuck with it.
Yep, Icy Rays, Chill Strike, Conduit of Ice, Ray of Frost, Chilling Cloud and Icy Terrain. But some of these skills apply chill after their first hit, so Snap Freeze won't proc after a stack of chill has been added to the enemy. I'm personally still using Snap Freeze, will be useful for Icy Rays and Chill Strike in PvP,…
Hello fellow wizards! I have a little experience with CWs on the game (I've got a level 60 one), and I tried respeccing to max Severe Reaction. The first thing I noticed is that the feat procs too few times, 15% sounds a lot, but I spent some time being bashed by 5~7 mobs on purpose, and it only activated every 5 or so…
I must be playing my CW TOTALLY wrong then, because I'm only allowed to blink 3 times before my stamina runs out, AND to avoid anything I must be extremely precise. In fact, the most times I get killed in PvP, it's because of a rogue going invisible and throwing daggers at me or using Lashing Blade that almost 1KO. Really…
In fact that's the first odd thing that I noticed, the tooltip states that on Rank 3 OF deals 3640-4240 Arcane Damage, and that Arcane Singularity deals 3220-3821, so I did expect higher damage from it. Though when using it, OF's damage doesn't even come close to AS damage on PvE, and even less on PvP.
My contribution: Heroic feat Prestidigitation tool tip says that it increases stats for both you and your party members, but the feat icon never appear on the Wizard himself nor increases any stats for him alone, though it works for the party members. Only with another CW on the party that has Prestidigitation said Wizard…
