Save disciple of war for when you have actual recovery. Disciple is an amazing feat that gives you the stat you need for 5 feat points. vigilant helm + chest AoW feet + gloves That setup gives the most recovery I believe and recovery/arp is better than crit especially with ancient castle set.
You do charge it with faster speed. You might want to wait a split second after you fully charge just to ensure you get max damage though. Also wow, those sprint cancel numbers are bigger than I expected.
You can do CN with whatever as long as you have a good CW and DC. I've done a lot of T2s and completed CN, the only class I've lost in damage to are rogues. Tapping the sprint button is more efficient. Also I found that doing it as lightly as possible lets the stamina regen just a little bit so you can do it for a while. Can you test if sprint cancelling WMS gives more damage than SS?
What? RS has a huge afterswing delay where you can't do anything unless you cancel it with an encounter/dash. WMS gets faster with cancelling especially with repeated swings. RS afterswing is the biggest thing and you can dash cancel that.
So you're telling me you sit through the recovery time of both reaping and WMS. If you're spamming WMS you get a lot more swings out by cancelling after the first hit and you can dash cancel right after RS hits to go into another attack. Replacing dash would be dumb. Dash cancelling is where a lot of the damage comes from and it keeps GWF efficient since you can cancel almost every animation. If you're planning on using battlefury at all I HIGHLY recommend the relentless battlefury feat. I have about a 15 second cooldown on my battle fury thanks to my recovery + RBF feat.

With Disciple of war I can hit 2200 with all dark 6s, no companion. Since I do have a companion however I don't have to dedicate rank 6s or all of my slots.
Well the set items have pretty good stats, what's wrong with them? I guess I'm somewhat bias since I can just get disciple of war and get like 500 arp for free. I think the only things lacking are the lame set bonuses but double dipping set bonuses is amazing anyway.
Go destroyer reaping strike feat with focused destroyer. You shouldn't be so focused on dealing single target damage as much as keeping student of the sword stacks up for your rogue though.
I admit I have not parsed it- my opinion comes from hitting mobs/bosses and watching the bleed dot damage carefully and I was not impressed at all. If they ever remove animation cancelling without actually buffing GWF damage GWF will no longer be viable in pve. Even then people will probably complain that they die too often since you can't sprint away after being locked into a lengthy animation.
It's certainly worthless compared to greatweapon focus though even with instigator cap, and there's no way you're ditching SoTS. Especially with a low crit rating like his, deep gash won't be proccing that often so greatweapon focus is a superior choice either way.
