I just wanted to reiterate my whole-hearted hope that whomever was responsible for the GWF itemization in NWO contracts genital warts.
I really... really... don't like you.
That is all.

Well the set items have pretty good stats, what's wrong with them? I guess I'm somewhat bias since I can just get disciple of war and get like 500 arp for free. I think the only things lacking are the lame set bonuses but double dipping set bonuses is amazing anyway.
There's only one epic archetype worth a **** and it pigeon holes you into a very linear itemization path. On top of that you have to 2-piece-combo just to get that to even work out well which is primarily because our 4 piece bonuses suck a fat wanker.
The fact that ring/waist/neck itemization is complete HAMSTER doesn't help much. When you look at these pieces and their offense/defense slot assignments it's like a dev decided to flip coins to figure out what got what.
Every day I look at my collection of armor... I have nearly all of them... and it just rubs me raw that in order to get the stats I want for PvP I have to deck out in level 60 blues. That's just absurd. I guess it wouldn't be SO bad if Power wasn't complete HAMSTER for GWF's; I wish we had the scaling that GF's had.

I have to totally agree.
Of course I have been following most of your posts.
I just turned 60 and I can already see the nightmare of itemization in the later game. Most of the items stack power and crit, where as I'm trying to find Armor Pen and Recovery.
The 4set bonus of Bladestorm and Vigilant Warlord's kinda suck balls too

I wouldn't suggest what you say here. I tried pen and rec. Pointless, the stats just don't add up enough in the current version of the game. Go damage, defense, and HP.

I went with full dark enchants on my avatar of war with CN main and the offhand. It helps a lot, now if I went full tank gear ( I'm not sure what this is called), and the tenebrous/plague fire cheese build I would fricken own in PVP But I honestly think that this enchant combination is cheesy and gimmicky and I refuse to do it. I am hoping for a fixed ASAP.

Trick have you made a PvE guide for the GWF? Just wondering what build your using. I currently run Destroy with Power > Crit > Recovery > ArM Pen but after reading your posts I may end up switching.

By Trickshaw, he clearly explains why Armor pen is better than Power.
Also, I've been using those findings and I've seen them work.

You using them in a T2 dungeon? Yeah. Show me a pic brah.
chud i think its been proven over and over arpen is > power currently. i think at this point youd have to provide evidence to say its power > arpen.
