I was the first one chosen, after playing the DC changes and seeing mod 5 stuff, I decided to quit the game. I've been snooping still, curious as to who else they choose.
It's very clear from the current feedback being posted here that people are unhappy with the DC basically being a new class. We can only wait and see if they take action on such things. Considering they basically threw away a year of requests for the cleric in exchange for whats on PTR now - don't get your hopes up. As for…
The fun part about cleric, for me, was having encounters that I could use to save an ally in a close call. First glance seems to have removed this in a way, and moved it to passive methods where all I have to do is show up and throw down any old skill. I look forward to testing and compiling feedback over the next few…
+ when Discussions happen here, I can read back over it to include in dev mails :) Quoting text from in-game isn't as fun to do, and I'm not gonna always be online.
Of course - DC has been my main class for the past 9 months, I know what's up. My main 'job' is to put what's on the forums into a post for the devs, so there is a limit onto how much I can stress what is right or wrong with the class in peoples' posts - so we can encourage more clerics to come on the forums and post,…
It makes sense, if we start posting opinions or feedback on changes, it puts us in a weird spot. With the big DC changes coming soon, I know I will be on preview along with my guild testing stuff, but it might be weird for me to post about the balance when I have the advocate position.
Just to clear up - they announced a few of the class advocates last week via PMs, and I told a few friends like @velynna I was chosen, along with seeking out other advocates to discuss with them some stuff we could do. Later Crypitc said they aren't sure if they want us being public about our roles (they said nothing…
Doesn't show properly on my character, female Sun elf. I tried changing all the face options on preview with a copied over change appearance token and the eyebrow always shows. This should also be moved to the bug-reports section.
I'm not exactly well known but in the interest of having competition and improving the DC class, I would like to take the position of DC advocate. I could easily dedicate an extra 30m+ a day to reading the forums scouring for DC-related topics, and I would post the exact message being sent to the Devs in a thread so that…
What is sent in the PM needs to be posted publicly, otherwise said person can screw and change facts as they see fit. What if a PVE person is selected? They won't be paying much attention to PVP posts, whole side of a class is unheard from. Way too much power for one person whose not under any official contract.
The balance made at the top level trickles down to the lower levels. At BiS PvP, imbalances are more visible due to the larger numbers caused by full gear. PvP with lower gear is basically just scaled down from the top level. As well, due to the current queue system, players with 12k gs commonly meet 17k gs players in…
This was my idea to fix DC triple kills: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?670041-DC-Triple-Kills&p=8322351&viewfull=1#post8322351 Either way, complain about it more so the Devs do something.
This is the first report of it I saw, I believe this is the correct cause of it bugging out: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?691391-Bugged-Black-Ice-Domination
Not bad, my thought from this is make it where if you buy with Zen, item is unbound, but with the AD Exchange Zen, you get the item as bound to account.
Even on the current live patch, this is doable (but more like 3 TWs). They use an originally PVE trick to get massive cooldowns with Armor of the Royal guard with some feats and a plaguefire. It just destroys gwfs, even now. Would really like to see a change to only allow 1 thorn ward at a time.
I bought one for 3.8mil a few days ago (there were none on the AH then). I figured Coal Ward = 500k. So let's call the 200 tradebars for a Coal 500k. 1600 bars for the stag, 1600/200 = 8, 8*500k = 4mil, so I was happy to pay up to that much for one.
