Small Forest Stag value

I'm thinking of selling a +2 Small Forest Stag and am wondering what would be a fair price to ask for it on the AH. I looked at two other of the same item on the AH and they are asking 9M AD which seems very high. Is it really worth that much?

Well, it's kind of difficult. I think it does worth 9m as you get random ammount for bars per box you open. I opened over 250 lockboxes to get my inferno mount (that green one).

You can always try bars jackpot but those cost 200k+ and the current ammount isn't enough for small stag.

They are rare and hard to obtain, but honestly, their real value is not above 1 million AD.

Well, it is worth it?, it depends on you, but every epic and legendary mount do the exact same thing expect the Throne.

I had one - copied that character to preview so I could mount it up and see what it was about. I immediately returned to Live and SOLD IT. I'd only consider one for my Halfling (but he has a nice Giant Beetle) and if I were to just buy one (Small Forest Stag) in AH for my Halfling I wouldn't consider spending more than about 1 Million *at most*.

And I say this because I have first-hand experience at seeing what it looks like and how it moves. Ummm... no. LOL

HOWEVER: @OP: If everyone else is selling for 9-Million, you should be able to easily get away with undercutting for 6-8 Million. Go for it.

I bought one for 3.8mil a few days ago (there were none on the AH then). I figured Coal Ward = 500k. So let's call the 200 tradebars for a Coal 500k. 1600 bars for the stag, 1600/200 = 8, 8*500k = 4mil, so I was happy to pay up to that much for one.

Now *that* makes a lot of sense. I often analyze AH purchases that way (for example: Blackice Warhorse = 5 Million = okay I'll do that, but hell-no for Tenser's Disk!) LOL

I must admit I have never applied that genius logic to Tradebar merchants. Kudos, you!

They are super rare... but that has a lot to do with the fact that its a
blue mount and super cuddly looking. I wanted one just for the sheer
rarity, but my CW Tiefling really doesn't mesh well.

I tend to ask a bit less than other people do for any item.
Unless you need cash in a hurry, I'd start on the high end.
Make sure you don't low ball the starting bid. You may only
get one person who notices one's for sale. (I always
leave the bid blank, and use a buy out price.)
Did you really think anyone could steal the power of the god of thieves?
