You know, so far no one has asked this: O.P., how far do you want to go, exactly? Because, unless you plan to live in Castle Ravenloft or the two other End Game Dungeons, it might not be worth it to you to get much past 13k or so. That is a perfectly respectable level that can do most of the content of the game, baring a…
Do what Random queues you can to get to your 100,000 daily A.D. limit on one character. I would recommend the GWF. They can contribute well to a team, even at a lower I.L., at least in most Dungeons. Use that A.D. to buy the Stones you need on the Auction House. Do some research on Artifact Sets (that is, a matched pair of…
Perchance a hint at the plot of an upcoming mod? A crossover event that would put Acquisitions Incorporated to shame? http://dresdenfiles.wikia.com/wiki/Order_of_the_Blackened_Denarius Hey, an Angry Drunken Forum Clown can dream, can't he?
It really all depends on what it is that you value with your V.I.P. subscription. If you are getting it as a means of funding your gameplay, then, maybe, just barley, if you play every day, and really know how to play the Auction House. If you are getting it because of Fast Travel, Mail Everywhere, Invoke Everywhere, and…
For some reason my Companion (an Augment) was unsummoned on a couple of my characters when I logged in, causing my IL to drop precipitously. Have you checked your companions yet?
On the lower right hand side you will see three open slots. Drag a Potion from your Inventory into one of these slotts. There will be a letter or number above this slott. Press that letter or number and the Potion will activate. Failing that, you can right click on the potion in your inventory and use it there. Hope this…
In general the easiest class to play for the first time is The Great Weapon Fighter. Terrific Offence, solid Defence, plenty of Self Heals, even some limited Ranged abilities thrown in there. At Ranged, probably the Hunter Ranger, although Your Mileage May Vary there.
I like to think we have a Diskworld situation on our hands here. Our 'candidates' are the alchemists who have succeeded in blowing up their own labs. I always picture them showing up, clothes in tatters, hair still smoldering, swearing up and down that they'll get it right any day now.....
That's the last intern who mentioned the words 'overtime pay' where Jim could here it. They had her taxidermied and keep her around as a warning to others.
A few of us have been talking about this here: https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter#/discussion/1244041/are-they-planing-to-sell-digital-antidepressants-in-the-zen-store
All those 'worthless items'? That is your Crafting Gold, right there. Pick it all up and sell it. Hell, before too long, I expect that there will be a brisk trade between non-crafters and crafters, with the former farming gold to buy Gold Bars to sell to the latter on the A.H. for the A.D. income. As far as Acquisitions…
I started a new character to take advantage of the promos and, so far, by level 45, the Gold costs are trivial. I can only see it being a problem for those who do not actually pick up stuff. For me, as long as I am not in a Dungeon or Skirmish (because it would slow down other players, and I don't want to be THAT guy) I…
-Some people seem to think it makes them move slightly faster. It might actually do that, if only fractionally, from what I've seen. I just don't have the patience to try the experiment with a stop watch. I DO know that quite a number of large-ish other games have had systems where Jumping did give you a speed boost. I was…
Yeah, that one is mainly meant for the hardcore Protector's Enclave Pumpkin Grinders. I've got it on two of my characters (I have an underdeveloped D.C. I'm working on turning into a decent healer. The mask, broom mount, and scarecrow are perfect for them.). Spending literally days running around the Enclave picking…
Selling Bags is a major earner for the game. The only way this works is to start with a tiny bag (say, 6 slots) and charge heavily for upgrades. Mind you, I still think that would be a decent idea, what with Chult Hunt Marks and all the River District stuff taking up room in my regular bags.
I'm honestly surprised that they weren't selling packages of those Bags in the Zen Store. Maybe thay are waiting for the last day or two to get the desperate people :)
Have you checked that all of your systems are in working order? I tried to run Neverwinter recently after upgrading a Graphics Card and somehow, my CPU had a Driver malfunction because of it. It makes no sense, I know, but that's what happened. I got a 'fails to meet requirements' notice because of it. My system is a…
I spent over an hour talking to every NPC I could think of relating to the event. I traveled repeatedly to every Zone related to the event or that I traveled to hunting candy. Until I saw this thread I thought that I just forgot which NPC traded the things.
Wait..... Kill Or Treat is a DAILY?!?!? I assumed that it was a weekly. I've spent most of a miserable flu day playing most of the day. I've managed 26 so far. I thought I was way ahead for the week.
Yeah, been seeing them a LOT lately. They seem to follow the leader in a wedge so tightly that they seem like one character. I ended up (winning) a Mad Wizard (or whatever they are called, the one in the sewers with the crazy guy) Skirmish with me on my crappy A.D. generating D.C. and a unit of four. They acted well enough…
Complete abandonment of RAQ is literally the ONLY way that they will fix RAQ. Either that, or find some way to make running it profitable for regular players.
1) Make a D.C. 2) Run the first two levels of queues. 3) Profit. With the current system D.C.'s make twice as much on Intermediate and queues pop almost instantly, so they make it twice as fast.
I have a sinking feeling that we are in for a repeat of the Champions Online Crafting debacle, at least where the Exchange rate goes. For those of you who never played that one, or never played before Cryptic became Cryptic World, they had massive (and just terrible) revamp (read: total elimination of) their crafting…
What percentage of your gaming time is actually taken up by these maintenances? I am asking quite seriously here. If you are loosing a day a month, it's not really an issue. Things happen. If you are loosing 25% or more of your total available gaming time, then, yes, it may very well be an issue, at least for Subscribers.…
A little side note here, because it seems to be of some concern to you: You can change the appearance of your armor and weapons, even using 'Fashion Items' to cover them entirely. Converting appearance of items usually costs A.D., but some items, including the special reward items for the Elemental Evil Campaign, offer…
