Lost some patience today when I logged into the game this evening and discovered that my GWF and DC both were "shorted" just about 6k HP. Mind you.. I had taken screen shots of my character sheets this morning. NOTHING changed.. same equipment, standing in Protector's, but suddenly 6k HP less than this morning. Lovely.
I feel that adding experienced DMs to write storylines, etc., may be a real benefit to this game. As it is, I don't think there is much in the way for a "creative department"...
This is exactly it. I plow through T1s no problem, and last about a minute in T2. So I've been spending my game time helping friends through the EE stuff, picking up EVERYTHING I can, either to stick in my gluttonous artifacts, or to sell for gold.
This may be a dumb question... Since the game is built around an engine, aren't all the areas and quests and whatnot basically like building a Foundry..?
It would have been stellar for them to have done something about Mod 6 while it was still in preview, and they were receiving pretty much all these same comments from players. Yes, I understand that there *can* be a difference between preview/test code and live code... but that does rather defeat the purpose of even…
I'm not necessarily interested in "easy". Or PvP. In 25+ years of playing *real* AD&D, never once did I experience any PvP. I'm not going to start now.
Mod 6 simply wasn't ready to go live. I'm not going to speculate or doomsay or point fingers, but in all reality, it simply wasn't ready to go live. In order to make this post "constructive" I would offer up that the comments and concerns that were raised in the preview forum should have at least been taken into…
I did it with the full Eternal Set, Artifact MH and OH, as well as Artifact Cloak, belt and sigil. Oh, and purple underwear. I've got all Rank 6-8 enchants, lesser vorpal and lesser soulforged. So, quite a few AD (and refining points) were spent. For 1910 Item Level.
I already offered up that suggestion and was immediately flamed. So OBVIOUSLY it's so some guy who is too busy counting his riches can improve the game.
Apparently, not this one. With everything being bought up and going "private", I have a feeling things are about to get "liquidated" (source: http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/perfect-world-enters-into-definitive-agreement-for-going-private-transaction-300072177.html).
It doesn't matter. They already have your money, and there will be ten new payers right behind you who will spend just as much.. until they figure out that in Neverwinter, the game plays you.
Okay, here's an update for you: http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/perfect-world-enters-into-definitive-agreement-for-going-private-transaction-300072177.html
