This is one is pretty much my fault. I knew you could out level a dungeon and be stuck here. I guess I just assumed, when I got the lair of the mad dragon on my queue list that it would be from level 30-39 and didn't notice the 5 level increment thing. So, even if me and my friends all run to the enterance of the dungeon…
I didn't turn my adblocker off when I read that article, and I really didn't care one way or the other. Afterall, that's what adblocker is for, so I don't have to care what HAMSTER other sites put up. But now you are also offended by Katscz' signature on these forums? I bet you're a blast at…
I don't even think people should argue what stage of development the game is in. It's in open beta if PW says it's in open beta. It's the newest trend to "soft launch" a game and say you are in open beta, while fixing things, adding things, and collecting money to try to get some return on the money you've been spending on…
This was a good read, thanks for the walk down memory lane. Everyone always tells me that blah blah blah, rose tinted glass nonsense. I play this game for a nice quick romp through Neverwinter because it's fun. When I really want to sink my teeth into a game, I just Project myself back to 1999 and make it happen.
This is a fun game, and I knew what the design of the game was before I started play, so I'm not complaining about it. Having said that, for me personally, a game is going to have to have a huge open explorable world for me to crown it. This game is a lot of fun, but it's more like NWN3 with a really good multiplayer…
The AH is absolutely awful to try to browse. I hate it, and I don't mind seeing people selling their stuff in general chat. I've bought a few things there and I had one guy selling some cool stuff for gold, which I thought was really cool. The "mute" system sucks. It's a good idea, just bady executed because of the high…
I haven't really been complaining about the store, but I have voiced some concern, so I'll try to explain. This company has to make money somehow and I'm ok with giving them some of my money, since the game is so good. I'm more nervous than anything else. I don't mind paying for things but I do have my limit. I paid my $60…
Indeed, it is what it is. I don't like it either, but we are stuck with it in this new micro transaction mmo world. What you do have control over is your guild. You get to set the rules for what your members can and can not do in game.
This is pretty bad. Last night it was tough for me to weed through all these garbage foundry quests, in order to find a good one that I haven't done yet that was made well, and not just made to PL.
This is how I feel. I paid 60 for founders pack as I'm totally fine paying 60 for a good game. Starting in June I'm going to buy 15 worth of zen. I hope this is enough to keep my characters in bags and enchants and such, sort of making my own sub based model. I'm starting to think it won't be enough, but I hope it will.
So, I could craft in game last night. Now I could craft a little bit from work today, and now it's frozen again. Same issue, -1 AD cost to finish now, which doesn't work and I can't cancel the job. I guess it's stuck again until I can log into the game. Frustrating. Edit: I tried logging in and out of the gateway, to see…
I like the trinity. It got stale and so some games tried to move away from it. I love that they had the courage to do this, but it also pointed out to me just how good the trinity system is. If all games had been made without it, then someone came along and made a game with the trinity system, we would all be praising that…
60 On founder pack. I haven't spent anything else yet, but I might. I would like to see a sale or a small reduction in price of some things first. If not, I'll buy 15 worth of zen a month, and if that doesn't sustain me, I'll move on. I hope that's enough though, great game.
Nahh, Monk has never been my favorite class. I will, however, pay for you to have a monk! Yea dude, that's just the type of awesome mood I'm in. You're welcome. Only if I get my bard though.
I have a pnp game that I'm DMing on the 11th. I can't wait to see the look on everyone's face when I tell them that they have to pay me real money to retrain their feats, when they level. Or we could just try to understand that, while the similarities are fun and immersive, this is a very different game than a pnp DnD…
I always liked it when swimming was a bit of a pain. Not as fast as land travel and you run out of breath and die if you stay down to long. But, there are classes that can cast breathe under water and walk on water. I like the utility, fun spells. I liked the underwater combat in GW2, but that's not realistic here. I think…
I found this out the hard way too. It's would be cool to eventually have some type of "mentor" system. I used that feature a lot in other games. It's not top of the list of stuff that needs to be added, but eventually, it would be nice.
I have chimed in on a few of these threads and pretty much I just state that the prices are too high and move on. I'm not trying to complain about it. I'm still playing and even if they don't lower the price, I'll still continue to play. I just look at it as the zen store is also in beta. I went there to spend some money,…
I think there are some items that are overpriced on the zen market. Keys is definately not one of those items. The price for keys is very fair. I have no problem with these boxes.
