You need to give the EXP Scrolls more credit then you have. The biggest loss in the rollback for most players was a few levels, and the EXP scrolls make up for this to a degree. Furthermore, they're trade-able, so even a level 60 player can make use of them by shipping them off to an alt. That said, I have other problems…

This is honestly a question more on philosophy than anything else. I think to define someone as "casual" or "hardcore" based on time played is incredibly narrowly scoped. A player can take their gaming very seriously, but have to work 40+ hours a week, plus however many hours of work at home it takes, to support themselves…
