You are correct. my mistake - however, what I said does count for the other package, the VIP thingy on HOTN does state "account unlock" - any ideas what this means?

VIP acces meant you got to play 5 days or something BEFORE open beta started. It has NOTHING to do with queue's. Inform yourselfs better!

There is actually such an option.. When I tried to close the game, it did ask me to really exit or go to the char screen. perhaps you overlooked it?

I have never experienced a queue with STO or Torchlight 2. And they do give a darn, or else they wouldnt be working their asses off trying to fix it - which they are.

Oh please. it's a beta bug.. stop whining about it and get some fresh air. If you look at how communicative the team has been so far, giving more than regular status updates and actually fixing problems in very short time spans, you should be thankful. they are doing an amazing job.

Bazingaaaaa! Was actually 17'th in the queue.....And then I took an Arrow in my...Nah, just kidding. It did bump me all the way up to 17,000 though :D Bazinga!

My launcher patched up fine and the login page is showing correctly. However, when I press the login button it fails.

Same here. Launcher page came up correctly, but crashes after pressing the login button. Not nagging here, just a update from my side :)

Well, truth be told, they are correct.. People need to sit back and realize this is , however annoying it may be , just a game. And a free game at that (except for the ones that paid for founder pack, they are a bit screwed now but that'll pass) . Like i said, It's just a game. relax, take a cup of coffee and wait it out.…

Indeed.. Those games had problems at launch too, just be patient.. i'm sure the dev's are working very hard to fix it... and you cannot really have a plan for launch in place as it would require a enormous amount of overcapacity that will never ever earn itself back when launch is over. So many people trying to login at…

Indeed... It seems to be the account server that is giving timeouts , the launcher seems to be a different issue.
