  • We had a cleric go the war/str domain route in our 4e campain and we found that the cleric wasn't very sticky and had trouble compensating for the punishment fighters can deal for ignoring their marks. I bet a war/str cleric would be great for solo play though.
  • Heya, Welcome. I don't think they have sent out keys yet, so you probably didn't delete it. No firm date for beta has been announced yet, but the speculation is that it will be late summer. The game is supposed to be following the D&D 4e ruleset. I personally think the 4e ruleset would work well on a MMO because like it or…

  • On one hand I find it encouraging, while on the other I am starting to think I'll have a long wait on my hands before I get to play this game. I hope they take their time to put out a quality game and like most people here, I'd be happy to be part of that process, but I also know that they really want to be "on the…
  • Depnding on how true PW wishes to be to the D&D 4e rule set, you may have some problems finding a lot of content catering to players that chose to follow the evil path. D&D 4e forwns upon and discourages players from being evil stating that the game isn't built to handle evil PCs.

I am just hoping for a game that is closer to D&D than your typical MMO. DDO was getting too "video-gamey" for me and was straying too far from D&D. Hopefully this one can maintain the balance…
  • I just completed the pre-order for TL2. I probably would have done it just for the beta access, but seeing as I'm in between games right now, I'll give TL2 a try. I might even give TL a try while I wait. I have a feeling that we have a lot of waiting and chaos to deal with before we see a live NWN MMO, but it will all be…
  • IMO Monks in 4e barely hold their own as strikers. I don't think I've seen an OP 4e monk yet.
  • My favorite 4ed wizard build so far has been a Genasi thunder blaster build. In my weekly game, my blaster does more damage than the strikers because I'm usually hitting several targets at once and through various methods of feat, item and race optimization. While that works on the table top, I'm not sure how well that…
