A properly geared rogue at 60 can duelist flurry a cleric down inside of his blue circle from 100-30%, while stealthed, then finish with a lashing strike or a daily. Oh and PS, he will die if you actually use teamwork and burst him down. If you could effortlessly kill a Cleric while they're at their strongest, then how…
I got my friend to start playing and I aoe foundry leveled a rogue to 60 as my alt. Maybe it's because I play a CW as my main but I just can't get into the TR. Where's the burst outside of a daily? Where's the sustainability in damage? It seems like I have zero survivability as a TR because the moment I'm out of stealth…
GOOD THING HE'S LEVEL 30 AND KNOWS END GAME MECHANICS RIGHT GUYS lol How can a rogue, or a GWF ffs, complain about cc? A rogue can escape ANY fight he wants at any time if he gets jumped. Only bad rogues get kited, really, if you're getting kited then derp!run the opposite direction and mount up and go grab a potion or…
Learn to better utilize the game mechanics given to you. Most rogues enjoy a successful pvp career by left clicking and tapping two encounters and doing quite well. Your class has more depth and if you hope to continue to do well then you need to start understanding your target and how to beat them.
Put pressure on the wizard then, make him D up and dodge or do other things other than allowing him to free cast on you. This same argument is used by people who say NERF ROGUE because they just let Rogues train them with out using countermeasures. Play the game and stop crying.
TRs are manageable as a CW or Cleric because both classes can essentially reset the fight once they get opened on by the rogue. Novice pvpers who don't have a strong understanding of game mechanics will probably get easily destroyed by a novice rogue. Rogues have a daze on their second highest single target damage move…
CW's can't do much if they're opened on by a rogue who knows how to daze only while stealthed so the cw can't dodge it and doesn't blow his shadowstep too early and get kited. That being said, a CW will obliterate a rogue if the cw opens on him out of stealth and at range. Two extremes but you get my drift.
CW do such terrible damage. Shooting somebody with magic missiles is laughable at how little damage it does to their health bar. In between force choke push and freezing their damage potential is awful.
I wasn't having too much trouble vs Clerics on my rogue assuming I wasn't closing the gap blowing my one gap closer and being opened up on with the daily. We will see how the game will play out with being stationary to attack as a melee class come release.
Wouldn't the modeling be the same if they just updated and changed the texturing? Meaning their dimensions would be the same but the skin/hair/face textures could be updated and nothing major would have to be overhauled. Animations would be a simple matter too and wouldn't, I believe, require anything other than reworking…
