i haven't noticed any difference in the loot from DK. i got a couple nice drops just yesterday (t2 boots and weapon). might this just be a case of RNG being RNG?
he is probably stacking more power than you, getting double points from the reckless attacker feat. if you are only 13.5 in the gear you described, sounds like you are focusing more on other stats.
weaponsmithing was far faster for me than leadership. it was also faster than alchemy. i only did gathering or refining for the entire 20 levels, not a single residuum needed. experience gain for this profession is fine.
i swap out gear every 2 or 4 levels, i've never had a problem doing that. i even toss in some low rank enchants in every slot (2s or 3s, depending what ive got on me). its incredibly cheap to do or free if you just use what drops from questing. so what's not feasible about it?
i'm not really familiar with the enchant, but if it was ignoring defense/deflect/dodge like they said and it wasn't intended, sure seems like they took their time figuring it out. if it makes the enchant perform on the same level as other enchants, then it seems like a good change to me. that said, i still think people are…
roll GF or DC. you'll never be paired with a second one, and your dungeon queues will be much shorter :D i agree that it sucks getting paired up with others of the same class, but the alternative of having 1-per-class parties will just make your queue times even longer due to the popularity of the rogue.
general advice: salvage the stalwart's set. it has ZERO power, worst set of all for conqueror build. while you work on finishing off your timeless set, get valiant gear tier 1 (awesome 4pc bonus), or even blue gear with power/defense. make sure you're using armor penetration runes in your stone pet, put power enchants in…
if you want the thing and can roll need, roll need if you want the thing and can't roll need, roll greed if you don't want the thing, pass if they came out with a loot option that was all greed only, i'd be fine with that. but at that point why even bother with loot rolls? have loot randomly assigned and placed into your…
first off, don't be afraid to pick up offensive stats in place of the defensive stuff. my first time thru on my guardian i picked all defense, deflect, that sort of stuff and a really defensive build. it was fine for a first character, but then i tried a DPS build (Rokuthy's conqueror spec) and its so much more fun for me.…
i have lots of fun on my guardian at level 60 in epic dungeons. i play the conqueror build and as long as the healer isnt shy about dropping heals, i just smash stuff. i mostly play groups formed by Q, or guild groups. i occasionally play groups from the LFG channel, never had any complaints! i don't play GWF so i can't…
i find this very hard to believe. every t2 dungeon i've run during dungeon delves, there is an epic item in the chest at the end. in every t2 dungeon i've run, bosses drop epic BoE items. i ran epic chasm last night and the only boss who didn't drop epic was the secret eyeball boss that drops some weird one-use pet. how in…
i've run with many new level 60s lately, and i think most of the BoP whining isn't coming from fresh 60s. its coming from the better geared players that profited from selling BoE to the undergeared newcomers.
as said above, a cleric companion helps a lot. it also gives you a little practice in gathering aggro to keep your party members alive. use block sparingly for the bigger attacks you can't avoid, don't burn it up during enemy's normal swings. think of it like weaving block in as needed, rather than block being the default…
sorry but i disagree. they look great to me. going to get some extra deflection on my guardian and get that 400 damage on deflect. it seems like it would be a decent damage increase for clearing dungeons. but you seem unhappy with them, what would you propose instead? seems like you want some sort of lifesaving event to…
i'd be very happy if dungeon groups formed from the Queue system would only start when there is one of each class (your perfect group). i do like your suggestions for possibly toning down the dungeon difficulty for these types of groups, 10% seems reasonable.
