So, is anyone else slacking off on the Motes of Water HEs? If so, I'd like to party up with anyone around 3pm-9pm EST for some farming of Crab encounters. I'm currently at 6 motes due to laziness and inability to get sufficient invites to instances. Gregor Shieldwarden@Bird Sarcoma Lv.70 Tactician GF
I've stuck it out with my main GF due to lack of enthusiasm in trying to gear/level up another character. My GF tends to not need a healer too often, even while running KV at full steam. Here's my usual group setup: --Encounters-- -Knights Valor (KV) (Always on unless I'm stunned out of it). -Into the Fray (ITF) (Because…
Into the Fray / Knights Valor / Enforced Threat (large groupings), Iron Warrior (longer survivability) or Commanders Strike (Bosses). Keep this in mind and you should be fine!
Dave here! Fresh 30 from Philadelphia and I CAN'T STOP PLAYING THIS GAME. I took a break from it for MONTHS and still I come back, thinking "it'll be different this time. It will!". I'm lying to myself, of course, as I realize now I have no control over my life. If you'll excuse me, I have to go farm for refining stones...
As a GF, my method is to try and Mark a TR and raise my shield, hoping my team will kill 'im. When trying to take a node, I take comfort in knowing that it'll take a couple guys some time to kill me /cap the node, thus giving my team a bit more time to deal with the offset number of players (Me in a 1v2-3 means my team is…
[quote=" I know the cheap players would cry about it but who cares they don't pay in anyways.[/quote] "Cheap" and "Free" players are definitely a different thing. Focus, man! The Glitzy lights are gettin' to ye!
As someone who has adopted the GF build by Rex, I can assuredly say my team(s) move through dungeons with ease. Castle Never is now something we enjoy doing and doing easily without a Cleric. Shores and Lostmauth don't feel quite so epic anymore. My name is Gregor Shieldwarden, and I endorse this thread!
I like Guarded Assault + Fighter's Recovery. Enemy hits teammate, I take 50% of it and bounce a percentage back to the enemy, stacking threat on them. It REALLY helps when my team is spread thin and I can't Encfored Threat every thing. And with FR I can heal a bit from the bounce, which make the Clerics job a tad easier.
With this whole "share with gold" mechanic on XBL, a single Live account can share online membership with any GT on it's system. If they get their spambot GTs banned, they can simply delete it, make a new one and get it going all over again. Developers would need to try and ask MS to perform console bans, perhaps?
I'm always interested in making new friends in the Realms. I may not join your guild, but I'll be more than glad to lend my shield to your efforts. GT: Bird Sarcoma Currently running 16k+ GF (def-spec)
Save your AD. As a TR, maybe you'd consider the eLOL set. They give less of a GS bump, but focus the stats into fewer areas, making it overall better :D
GT: Bird Sarcoma I tend to play a little every day during the work week and then grind it out on the weekend ( I AM the warrior of weekends which you speak of!). Anywho, it'd be cool to tag along and play!
As a Guardian, I agree. Some people simply think it's up to me to not only take my / their damage, but to do so without fuss. If it's an honest mistake, I'll understand. If you abuse the Valor, then it can end badly for you. As a bit of a lesson, I tend to turn off KV in PUGs with THOSE kinds of players. Let them…
As a tank myself, my job was to run side by side in a circle with the Cleric, occasionally dipping into the center and taunting the adds away from the DPS-based players, doing my best to avoid those damned hands. Works pretty well, honestly.
When healing DPS-based players, I'd suggest the 1st paragon path with HoT abilities. When healing Tanks, I prefer the 2nd path for spike healing. Others might have a different style, but I figured I throw in my two cents.
