The odds of this happening when running with randoms is basically zero, especially if you aren't playing with a USB keyboard to chat. By the time you leave your group accidentally, that spot is filled within seconds. There's a prompt asking if you're sure you want to vend an unidentified green item.. there should be one to…
I think people are just so used to the "gold standard" or tank, heals, DPS group make-ups. That on top of most people not using mics (or typing in group chat with a simple USB keyboard) are what makes most encounters rough in a random group. I'm assuming a lot of people are just jumping in to the game on XB1 because it's…
I honestly don't understand *why* the mini-map was taken out of the game in the XB1 port. I don't think ESO has one either without an add-on, but it's just an odd design choice. If it's a matter of clutter, just include the ability to adjust the size of the game's UI (especially those annoying world dragon health bars that…
Lockboxes are a lottery, as it was pointed out in an earlier comment. If you just want a mount, just buy one of the ones off the Zen store. You'll spend less money AND they're account wide, not locked in to one character like the Drake mounts in the Tyrannical Lockbox. You can't spend money on the lottery and complain you…
I second this. I followed that guide and everything just works out really, really well. Lots of great feat/ability synergy, AoE, and control without jeopardizing DPS.
If you're going Hellbringer/Fury, Curse + Dreadtheft is the only AoE you really need and I'd recommend replacing Fiery Bolt with Warlock's Bargin. It's necrotic damage, which benefits the spec immensely and deals a solid amount of damage to tough elites and boss monsters.
You can heal damage, but you can't heal the dumb off of people. Probably better to use the forums here to find yourself a good guild or a solid group of dungeon runners instead of doing the PuG thing. They're generally a nightmare.
Whenever I tend to have a string of connection issues, they usually fix themselves after going to the Home screen and closing Neverwinter, then doing a hard restart by holding your finger on the Xbox One power button until the console shuts off. If that's not working, I'm pretty clueless.
You can start doing dailies at the Harper in Protector's Enclave at level 26, after completing their initial quest chain. Once you can actually start doing the dailies, you then use the materials you get as rewards to "start" a block on the Campaign screen. Some require you to repeat the same block three or five times in…
As of now the only thing you can do is to search for the person on XBL and manually block them through the Xbox One's own UI. There should definitely be a way to block and report abusive players in-game.
Not having the ability to report abusive players, turn off zone/trade/LFG chat, or block players in-game basically makes the Xbox version a haven for trolls. Chats are constantly full of trolls, especially the earlier zones, and I'm noticing a trend of people spam inviting my friends and I to group no matter how many times…
To my knowledge, the Xbox One version contains all of the class balancing from module 5, so if you find any guides online that are for Mod 5, they should work just fine. There is one PVE guide for each class posted here, but it's missing Trickster Rogue. But yeah, just google your class + Mod 5.…
Due to the Xbox One's overscan issue for older model HDTVs, I need to manually adjust the borders of my screen through the use of in-game menus. The one provided in Neverwinter doesn't work (will not adjust whatsoever, so I'm missing about 1 inch around my entire screen).
Yeah, there's no option for that at all on Xbox. Also no option to block players in-game that troll chats or spam you group invites, which seems to be an ever increasing trend on Xbox.
Having the option to turn off player or enemy health bars completely would be most welcome. It's hard enough trying to target the right mob as a ranged DPS (I play both a 60 CW and SW), but when your party member's health bars are also getting in the way it's basically nightmare fuel.
Sometimes this bugs out and you have to exit your powers screen, and then open it back up in order to allocate the point. It's happened to me at least twice.
As annoying as this is, it's really only an issue when running with randoms (as friends typically know not to loot during combat). What I *would* like to see though is a prompt asking "are you sure you want to leave your party?" when you mess up and hit back+X to greed roll through multiple loot pop-ups. It's WAY too easy…
The game has been available for almost a month on Xbox One, and it runs just as bad as it did on day one. It's also been seemingly worse between midnight and 5am EST, where for the last week I'm getting timed out every single time I try to zone in or out of a zone or instanced in quest dungeon. It's driven at least 5 of my…
"Nah" is also blocked, which is odd.. but every 10 seconds I see someone win a Rage Drake with a name like "Tittymaster" or something with a reference to male HAMSTER.
Currently, the option to change the border display is not working so I'm missing roughly 10% of the edge of my screen all around. I can pull the option up within the game, but it's not responding in any way.
