I suppose you're right about the lower levels. But my paladin is only my only lvl 70 atm, and yes, I do see that the damage is not so great now. As far as nerfing the paladin daily, I'm really not sure how they let that get past play-testing.

The theory was that it would be used in packs of mobs and thus the damage would be divided though it doesn't exactly seemt o work properly. Combine that with damage buffing effects like Justice top tier ability and vow of enmity and bane and you can deliver some heavy hits.

We don't need new classes. We need a working game.

That would be nice. I'm thinking next year. But yes, I would like to have some dungeons back in the game. And I would also like not to get one-shotted by random mobs in epic dungeons that I supposedly have a high enough item level for. It's ridiculous. Seems like there's little way to get epic lvl 70 gear unless you already had BIS when mod 6 was introduced, or you're playing with people that do. The game's still fun on lower levels, or if I'm playing with my girlfriend. Other than that though, they really need to fix some things. :)

Hm. Maybe I'll try using vow of enmity and bane and see what happens.

new classes are a vital thing to the design of this game separate from any fixes, new dungeons, or other new things. They drive zen sales so will continue to be made.

I agree. Besides it provides much more variety in styles of play and party configuration. And it forces some people to start new clesses they really like and spend more money. :) What would be really nice is if they actually had some different starting zones for races and/or classes, but I guess that'll probably have to wait for Neverwinter 2.0, as in an actual Forgotten Realms game as whole, called Faerun or something. (Abeir-Toril would probably have to wait for 3.0). Being able to visit Baldur's Gate, Waterdeep, etc. (beyond in Foundry quests) would be really cool though.

Well, I voted Druid. (you know, that class that topped the polls last time that we didn't get?) Only because voting other seemed like a waste of a vote despite having more of the options I would prefer to see.

Some people have mentioned they want a strong support class which is great but I am not sure how we could do that in the current module. The warlock when configured just for healing and buffs made a great support class but my current attempts to make my warlock have the same level of effectiveness have hit a brick wall. I am afraid with the armor penetration and control resistance we see from the mobs in the current module a class based solely on support would be useless. They would have to completely redo game mechanics again. Also the Paladins massive bonuses and healing are so overwhelming it is not even needed. Granted this means any party with out a paladin gets steam rolled but still putting another support class would be messy and require a lot of rework of several classes.

Sorry I forgot to add the quote this is in reply to thesensai and how they will continue to make new classes. Well if they do not fix the current classes reviews will continue to blast the developers for making a broken game each new module and no one will buy Zen. They can add an over powered class every cycle and draw new people into the game but that has reducing return. Word is out this game has serious issues and people are staying away. I love the game but the developers need to focus on fixes not new content.

What ever the next one will be, it shall be better able to cope with the content of the time and will be the class to play until it gets nerfed into mediocrity in the name of balance.

I want a bard more then the druid. With what they've done to HRs and SWs, the druid will be quickly nerfed to death.

To be honest, I would be done with Neverwinter right now if my girlfriend didn't like to play it.
