One of my first characters was a Druid named Miser of the Glen, so I have a soft spot Druids. I would like to see a Bard. In all my years of playing D&D I always wanted to play one I just never did.
I'd like to see Druid, then Bard, then done with new classes for a long while. We are starting to get class overload. I know it won't happen. I suspect people playing and gearing new classes is a major revenue source. And it's not like they are going run out of classes to make. Or lose player demand for new and interesting classes
I just believe new classes is no longer the priority it once was. The game launched light on classes, that is not really an issue anymore.

I agree that either Druid or Bard would make sense, as those are more standard classes that are missing. Personally, I think the Bard would be a really unique addition for the "next" that doesn't share similarities to any of the current classes.
However, I would love to see a Psionic class more than anything.
Druid I think.
Would be 'easy' to make for them since a lot of stuff is already in game.
Shapeshift on tab with probably something like bear and cat(cause all like cats lol)
I also guess we gonna get some "flying" class/ race really soon. They started to put wings models in game and general 'fly' stuff.
Same as it was with auras for gear > paladin.
Wish there was merchant class and it had "hand of Jesus" on tab so you could like make 2 GMOPS out of 1 etc.. That would be one hell of a fun class lol.
Edit: On a serious note I'd rather have cryptic work on current classes and certain cross class interactions that DO NOT seem to be WAI at all...
Drood...Feat paths could be something like focused damage and dots, sort of a control/buff path with roots, buffs/debuffs, & stuns...and a path fully focused on shapechange...maybe the capstone would allow you to stay in animal (or whatever ) form indefinitely...sort of like the SW perma-puppet path. Alternatively, if they could summon one of the paths could focus on that instead.
I don't particularly care one way or the other what the next class will be. It is really only a concern for new players coming in after it is implemented because this game is not conducive to maintaining alts for anything other than storage space, invoking, and leadership armies. You can only afford to dedicate game time for your primary, if you have anything else in life to draw your attention, to grind for RP.

I strongly disagree with this. We need druid, monk AND bard before we have the bare minimum of DnD archtypes covered.
This class has several skills: Stand Still: whilst other classes are getting one shotted, the Invoker stays out of harms way - removing the need for ineffective health potions. Escape Artist: avoids countless injuries with dungeon traps by not entering them - overcomes the requirement for healing kits. Bug Off: Reduces the possibility of bugged questing by not doing any. Dual Wield: Invoker can also be coupled with Professioner - as the skills do not share a common cooldown. Sporadic Action: Allows the player to do other things between casting. Gear Drop: does not need any.
The class is becoming more popular of late, but is not as effective at end level.
...............vote for your favourite expansion.......... "Mod 6. Oh my f****** god. It gutted the game pure and simple. And what wasn't gutted was messed up by the poorly thought out new level cap and equip. The game never recovered from that atrocity". ..............not this one then.............
Seeing the Oathbound Pally animations, I'm almost sure that we are getting Avenging Pally and the Oath of Vengeance as paragon path for both.
It will have some new attacks like:
-Hidden Golden Greatswords, the pally moves a step back and magic greatswords are summoned and thrown against his enemies.
-Gate of Heavenly Fire, a magic portal appears at the target location and throws heavenly fire to the current position of the pally.
and certainly not the GWF animations.

I'd also like to see assassin and sorcerer.
Druid and Bard would offer secondary options for leader and controller roles. And will also bring the total number of classes to 10. That is a sizable number of classes by any standard. I don't honestly see Monk offering anything really unique. Other then fitting into that melee grey area between defender and striker and sharing the wallflower bench with the GWF.
Besides, just because it needs to be said again. Monks suck.
The highest odds are on one of three classes: monk, (shifter)Druid, Bard
A lot of suggestions here are either prestige classes (aka assassin, which wont even be considered until core classes are done and indeed are sorts of a build option of rogue at the moment),non-core or non 'classic' classes (aka swordmage), or just far too similar to current classes (sorcerer/invoker aka generic casters).
Monk, (shifter)Druid, and bard are all three core and classic classes across all editions of D&D, that also each have a fresh and unique gameplay aspect that will bring the most value to the game, and thus to Cryptic/PW pocketbooks.

They also come in in the top three in the official vote for next class thread, and are extremely popular. I smell troll.

I wouldn't consider third place, after 8 other classes have been released making it more an unofficial 11th place, as extremely popular. They are also one of the only classes that has generated direct opposition. You don't often hear anyone going boo to Druids or Bards. But there is a significant segment of D&D players who would rather not see monks at all.
For the sake of all that is good and decent in the world, please make it the Druid. I have been waiting since launch for the Druid, only to be thwarted again and again by classes, though interesting, far less fun and imaginative than a Druid. I want an animal companion, a heal or two, plants and animals, and a polymorph, I want to be all that is good about a Druid. Please don't shaft us 'naturists' again. Why is the Druid always the one to be sidelined.... Then Bard...please.

After all, I didn't write that article.
