Greetings adventurers,

We've been listening to your feedback and want you guys to know that we're acting on it as well. The developers have given a roadmap of sorts for the community to know exactly what they're working on and what changes are to come in the near future. Take a look and tell us what you think!

CW Icy Terrain cooldown is not reduced at rank 4 ,is this being fixed any time please!

Also , PLEASE rethink the recent timer nerf to Dragon horde enchantments that panderus made us aware of, punishing the entire playerbase in order to deal with cheaters in simply not fair ,it has been used far too many times as an excuse to ruin the game for legit players in the past and needs to stop , you guys need to start handing out perma bans to anybody who you catch botting ,including regular players who are cheating instead of silly 3/5 day bans.

It is nice to see a plan is coming together.

This doesn't really do anything, nor does it satisfy any glaring concerns. Still, it is a nice gesture.

Please add some kind of potions which boost the survivality and dmg for 1h against enemies found in IWD and WoD. This will make these zones less frustrating and those who enjoy current state can simply NOT use these potions. (vials should last ~90min and through death)

The only thing i miss from the upcoming changes its still not rewarding enugh to go T2 dungeons.
What shoud i do in T2 if i have finished my full elven set?

Even going to sword coast adventure is more rewarding .

But all of those thing look awesome on paper lets hope it will work .

I suggest to remove all your gear before they implement those changes avoiding black holes.

    Rebalancing XP

. . . . Obviously, we want players to play and enjoy the new content. To fix this problem, we are looking at reworking the leveling flow (XP required from 61-70 and XP rewarded in level 61-70 zones) so the new content is substantially more rewarding. While this will likely include changes to the actual XP numbers, it will not greatly affect the time to level to 70. This is a large task and something we’re taking our time with.

Addressing the mind numbing grind of Vigilance tasks should be a priority then. Most of my characters have invoked their way to Spinward Rise , thankfully missing out on 96 soul sapping and miserably repetitive tasks.
    Definitely not an Arc User.

I'm in the same mindset, tried a few hours of Drowned Shore with a DC (oh gods what a mistake) and GWF. After an hour on each, I went away for a whole week (still invoked and did professions) and played Skyrim again.

I would appreciate more focus put to fixing weapon/armor enchantments. Darn lot of pure/transcendent enchantments are bugged.

This post is overdue. Though it's more like an intersection than a roadmap it is welcomed news and gives us something to look forward to. Though most of what is mentioned in the "coming soon™" portion is mostly "meh" to me, I am really happy to see Rare drops will finally start including some Armor Enhancement slots. THAT is badly needed indeed.

Why are they only fixing these Player Powers? What about all the other ones these classes have that are broken, such as OP's Aura of Solitude? What about other classes broken powers, such as TR's Sneak Attack?
    Player Powers

We’re doing a lot to fix bugs related to player powers. Here are a few of the changes:

    Oathbound Paladin
    • Vengeful Judge: Now works as expected for all Paladin Paragon Paths
    • Vow of Emnity: No longer has negative interactions with Weapon Enchantments
    • Sanctuary: The root from Icy Rays (and other similar powers) no longer incorrectly pierces Sanctuary's CC Immunity
    Scourge Warlock
    • All Consuming Curse: This class feature will no longer incorrectly activate while the power is not slotted
    Devoted Cleric
    • Geas: Players in PVP can only be affected by Geas once every 30 seconds
    • Urgent Prayers: The heal from this feat can no longer be deflected
    • Break the Spirit: Empowered bonus on this power now works as expected
    • Anointed Army: This power now works as expected at Rank 4
    Control Wizard
    • Entangling Force: Rank 4 now correctly reduces the Cooldown of Entangling Force and works correctly in the Spell Mastery slot
    Hunter Ranger
    • Aspect of the Lone Wolf: Rank 4 now increases Deflect as expected
    • Stormstep Action: This class feature no longer grants more recharge than expected with Seismic Shot

Also, what about IWD HE difficulty? They say they will lower Tiamat difficulty because it's impossible, but have they checked out IWD's Black Ice Beholder and Remorhaz fights? I have never seen them beaten since Mod6 launched. I always see them untouched and when I ask in chat why no one does Beholder anymore, or Remo the response is, "because they are nigh impossible"...

I understand this is only a partial list but the list does nothing to alleviate the major gripes I have or other people have with the overall level of difficulty right now. If it have greens on in whispering caverns at lvl 60 up against lvl 60 mobs I may die every once in a while but the quests(solo quests) are doable even with my SW. Now even if I am lvl 59 with greens and go up against lvl 60 it isn't much difference from being lvl 60...but lvl 71 mobs hit so tough in sharandar and dread ring is much worse...WOD...well not even worth trying unless doing the heralds and then die a few times with the spawns. My OP does much better in shar but dread ring is still a no go. This is all with lvl 70 rares with both toons...shouldn't need BIS to do solo content. PERIOD. Not that I see BIS doing my SW much better than it is now.

I've seem the Remorhaz beaten, but that was a huge group of people. I agree it is very hard, but personally I like it being difficult, assuming of course the rewards for then beating it are appropriate. The problem has been imho that the rewards weren't proportionate to effort. I don't think there's anything wrong with saying 15+ players, but it should be easier to organise also.
Ultimately they have made IWD pointless for anything other than gathering black ice, as the black ice gear is sub-par. I had thought that using the black ice gear as part of an upgrade for BIS was a great idea. Having the upgraded pieces lag behind what you can get through PVP is a bit pointless.
One thing though - Am I the only one thrilled that Tiamat is being fixed? I know there's more broken, but frankly that was one of the big ones for me. Yes, they need to spend time to fix the rest but come on - give the guy a bit of credit. I'm glad to see some progress and some communication.
As to botting - it should be combatted, and I also think there should be other ways to get RP than dragonhoards. And anything that reduces botting is a good thing.

Aaand still no SW fixes. To think we were foolish enough to wait for 21 of April in vain hope of things getting better. I refuse to spec into the only viable path (SB Damnation) to stay competitive. We're in dire need of fixes!.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Alchemy needs a serious rework.

Unified elements is fine, but crafting elemental aggregate with alchemy is a complete joke. The expected return on investment for a crafting task should be equal to or greater than the return if someone had just run leadership tasks.

It'd also be nice if my alchemy tool assets were useful. But, I mean, the market is flooded with all these elemental components but absolutely NOTHING to do with them. Someone should create a clever task that uses, like, 100 of each of the four elemental pieces or something.

Again, I would like to see some kind of credit for our old Sharandar/Dread Ring sets. How about a discount on the new Lvl. 70 sets? Say 50% plus the corresponding piece?

At least you're not planning to lower the difficulty in group content! Sounds good.

Looks interesting so far, can't wait to see the rewards for HEs in IWD.

I know there is more to be done but I still can't play my HR with this patch. Difficulty really needs to be addressed. I was playing my level 56 OP in Ebon Downs yesterday doing the dragon there and getting 1 shot. Doesn't make sense that at level 38 ( whatever level you can start doing the dragon ) I was taking almost no damage at all and now at level 56, I am getting 1 shot. Nothing like leveling backwards as you level up. Every level I go up, I get worse and worse, no matter how much better armor I equip. When are our stats going to be updated to actually reflect that we leveled up instead of going backwards every level and ending up being worse than at level 1.

Interesting.. after i logged in the 1st time post mod 6 and felt the difficulty nightmare in only one area...i could taste what and where things were at and were going and fast, and that was it...I thought maybe i wasnt giving it a chance...not.

Sucess and the experience of power is never boring and will never depolarize a players desire to play, but this nightmare has and does.
The only ppl that cry content is boring from success are those from other MMOs that want to destabilize the player base and those that cannot handle using reduced armor in fear of petty judgements from being seen in it....imho.

    Hi All,

Jumping in here quickly to say thank you for the continued feedback. We (both the developers and the comms team) know that there's a lot of chatter regarding M6 and requested changes. To pull the curtain back slightly to how this works, the team has been scrimmaging following the launch to see what we can do to ensure the game meets both the community requests and their game vision. As some of you may know, game development takes time and Cryptic is taking the steps to make several adjustments to improve the experience. Scott outlined several in his blog, but those shouldn't be considered the only items that are being actioned on.

Keep the discussion going. Both Andy and myself (as well as the developers) are keeping our eyes on the forums, Twitter, Facebook, etc for key points of feedback (positive or constructive) and will do our best to make sure you all have a great experience.

I'm one of those folks who found that the older content had become so difficult with the level cap increase as to be mostly unplayable even after achieving Level 70 with both my characters (a Trickster Rogue and a Great Weapon Fighter). I've given up on doing any skirmishes or epic dungeons, or most missions in the Well of Dragons or Icewind Dale. (I join in the occasional Herald Hunt, and do some Black Ice mining, but not much more than that.) If the retrain tokens that were given out at that time can help with that, I'm not sure how to apply them. Kessell's Retreat, Shores of Tuern, and those two larger zones were some of my favorite content to glide through over the course of an afternoon, simply because they were at just the right challenge level for me.

I was also quite sad to see the Protector's daily missions for Rough Astral Diamonds go away, and a bit disappointed at the loss of the old Gauntlgrym PvE, though those aren't quite "issues" per se like the above.

Glad for the communication. Please consider this. Every new players that joins my guild asks about where to get gear and best quests to do. The conversation always ends in, just wait till you get 70 and have artifact gear. Then its gonna be a long, expensive grind. This does not motivate people. You're number one goal should be to get players running through content again.

    1. Add Artifact Refinement items to EVERY daily (talking about 61-69 hourly quests too). Refinement and the amount needed is such a huge frustration point I need a new thread to go over. Just listen, players are getting tired of trying to find enough refinement to level 4 new items to legendary. I get that top gear shouldn't come easy, however it also shouldn't cost over $5000. Adding a lesser stone to all the daily isn't going to kill the bank. It will however give players some incentive to do them and see some (minor) progress toward getting their gear. Also its alot harder for a bot to run dailies than farm foundries.
    2. Add Artifact refinement to 5 man dungeons. Want people to group up and run these things? Add RP. Each boss should drop a Blue at minimum. Make it bound for all i care but add it. Also gives pvp'er reason to run with pve'ers and do content
    3. Remove 1 potion restriction. I can't see how this will hurt anything, but we can start getting rid of these things in our inventory faster
    4. Remove white pearls, seriously it takes over 4million RP to lvl something. a 100 RP drop that is taking up the now limited dragon hoard drops is an insult
    5. add weapon, mount, companion dyes to zen store. Go nutz, this is a great way to increase revenue without creating power creep. Just look at how good black dye does on the zen store.
    6. enchantments, won't go into to much here, it has already been stated many times. Look armor/weapon enchants again and make some tweaks.
    7. Please expand on known issues. There are many forum warriors here that report bugs/exploits/everything and we have no idea of what is being looked at, achowledged or is WAI. I'm not asked you all to list exploits but a running known issues log would be so very helpful. Alot of our frustration is the unknown.
    8. any pvp updates at all? If you are prioritizing other stuff thats ok, just throw us a bone with what you are planning
    9. There are some things that need to be updated with mod 6 changes:
    a. Hero's Feast. HP needs to scale and power.
    b. Tymora's coin. Stats aren't scaling, not worth a belt slot
    c. Pocket pet.
    d. Blue/purple leadership chests, need to update drop table
    e. Gift of tymora/Gift of Gods. Need to be updated, not giving resources appropriate for new levels. Rank 4s instead of rank 5s etc
    f. Companions, across the board. Look at the active bonus and then look at new stat curve. Adjust as neccessary

Just my ideas on how to make the game more enjoyable again.
